Tanjiro's POV

"Come on in, demon slayers, you may rest here." a nice old lady said.

Y/n was fast asleep. We all walked in and she led us to a room with 4 beds. I put Y/n onto one of the beds. Before I got to put the blankets on her, the old lady said," Here, take these change of clothes so I can wash yours. Also, leave the girl there, I'll change her."

"Alright," I took the clothes and she told me where there was a room that I can change in. The others also left the room so they could change and the lady went in with clothes for Y/n.

Once I changed my clothes, I came back and saw Y/n lying in bed peacefully. I smiled and then sat on the bed right next to hers.

"What would you like for dinner?" the lady asked.

"Anything would be fine," I smiled. She nodded and then left to go cook. I looked back at Y/n to see if she had woken up yet, she was still sleeping peacefully. She looked so beautiful.

Y/N'S POV

"Hey... it's time to wake up, we are going to eat dinner," I heard someone say. I open my eyes and see Tanjiro's face up close.

"Did you say dinner?" I asked.

"Mhm!"

"Alright let's go," I got up and followed him. As I was walking, I noticed that I had different clothes on.

Did-...no way...did Tanjiro...change my clothes?!?! I started turning a dark shade of red. Tanjiro looked back at me, he looked shocked. "Are you ok? Why are you so red?" he asked with a worried look on his face.

"Did- did you change my...clothes?" I asked, turning an even darker shade of red.

He blushed as well and then shook his head "NO! I would never! Well...without consent."

"O-ok, then who did?" I asked.

"The old lady that took us in changed your clothes. She is very nice and she just finished making us dinner right now," he replied.

"Oh, alright." I smiled. We then walked into the dining area and sat down at the table. The old lady he was talking about put some plates down with food and then gave us plates/bowls as well.

"Thank you!" Tanjiro and I said at the same time. The lady nodded and then left the room.

We all started eating but everyone stopped once they heard weird noises. Both Tanjiro and I looked to our left to see Inosuke devouring his food and munching on it with his mouth wide open.

"EWWW INOSUKE THAT'S GROSS!" Zenitsu screamed.

"WHAT?!?" Inosuke glared at Zenitsu.

I cringed every single time that a little bit of food from his mouth would fall onto the table. "That IS gross, you should at least close your mouth when you eat," I said.

He glared at me and then rolled his eyes. "I don't care about manners."

I sighed and just decided to look away while I ate. I was ignoring him but he was becoming way too loud and it was starting to annoy me again. I know that he was just trying to annoy us so I kept on trying to ignore him. I started to eat faster and soon finished my meal.

"Tanjiro, I'm going back to bed now. Can you tell the nice lady that the food was very yummy?" I said, getting up from my seat.

"Yes! Of course! Have a nice rest. I'll be there in a few minutes." he replied.

"Alright thank you, you too," I smiled and then started walking back to the room with 4 beds.

Once I got there, I laid down on my bed and drifted off to sleep.

Tanjiro's POV

"Hey miss, my friend told me to tell you that the food tasted amazing. And I also wanted to say that it was yummy," he said to the old lady.

"Aww, tell her I said thank you." she smiled. "Also, I thought you two were a couple?" she asked.

I blushed profusely and denied. "No, we aren't dating."

"Well, not yet," she said with a smirk.

I blushed again and then shook my head with a smile on my face. I walked away and started heading towards the bedroom. Once I walked into the room, I saw Y/n sleeping in her bed but the sheets were on the floor.

I think she might have kicked them off or something. I started to laugh a little and then I picked up the sheets so I could put them on her. As I was about to put them on her, she started to shift around. I smiled and waited for her to get in a comfortable position.

Once she did, I started to put the sheets/blankets on her. As I was doing that, she started to snuggle close to the side of the bed that was closest to me. I finished tucking her in and turn around to go to my bed.

As I walked to my bed, I felt a hand grab my arm softly. I look back and see Y/n grabbing my arm.

"...warm..." she said. Aww, is she cold still? I got closer and then she pulled me into the bed.

"H-hey! Y/n it's me," I said

"Mm... warm..." she said and hugged my torso.

I started to panic once I heard footsteps. "Y/n, stop! It's me Tanjiro. I'm not a pillow, silly. H-hey!"

No one's POV

The door opened, revealing both Zenitsu and Inosuke. Zenitsu stopped in his tracks and gasped. His eyes were filled with anger while Inosuke looked shocked and like he was about to tease them.

"HOW DARE YOU CUDDLE Y/N?!?!?" he yelled.

"SHHH! SHE IS SLEEPING!" Inosuke yelled.

"STOP YELLING! BOTH OF YOU!" Tanjiro yelled.

"YOU ARE YELLING TOO!!" Zenitsu yelled.

"...can you guys stop yelling please?" Y/n said.

Everyone looked at Y/n while she slowly rubbed her eyes and opened them. She looked at everyone and then realized that she was cuddled up to Tanjiro. Then she remembered her dream.

She was hugging a big warm marsh mellow in her dream. She realized the marsh mellow in her dream was Tanjiro in real life.

"EEEK! I'M SO SORRY TANJIRO!" she yelled.

"No no, it's alright! You didn't mean it, you were asleep." Tanjiro smiled.

"It's fine (your name pronounced horribly) he is ok with it since he wanted to hug you anyways." Inosuke teased.

Tanjiro and Y/n started to turn a really dark shade of red. Zenitsu ran up to Tanjiro and started getting ready to throw hands.

"HOW DARE YOU TANJIRO?" Zenitsu screamed.

"HEY WAIT! CHILL!"
