The rest of the weekend dragged painfully for Stiles as he tried his best to avoid Lydia. She'd only been there for two days and he was already sick of her. But today was the big day, the day when she'd go to school with them and meet the rest of the group. He awoke early in his own bed, still knackered after leaving Scott's house late the night before. He got changed hastily, taking a final glance in the mirror, to attempt to control his hair, but it was no use. He quickly ran his hands through it as it spiked up in odd places, making him sigh before he rushed downstairs, yelling a quick "Bye" to his Dad as he left. He quickly got in his jeep and set off to Scott's.
Once he got there, he hopped out and entered the house without knocking like he lived there personally. "Scotty!? Are you ready yet? We need to go?" He shouted upstairs and after hearing no response headed abruptly to the kitchen, opening the fridge to chug some milk out the carton quickly. He heard someone use the stairs so he shut the fridge only to discover Lydia sat behind it at the breakfast bar. He jumped quickly in fear, he didn't even notice her when he walked in. "Do you always do that?" she eyed him suspiciously as she gave him a dirty look. "Oh my godd! Can you not sneak up on me like that? you keep making me jump. Its not a very likable personality trait you know?" He squinted at her as he held his chest in surprise. She stood up from her seat, glaring at him. "You know what? Funnily enough, i'm not really trying to be 'likable' when it comes to assholes like you." She replied sarcastically before heading out of the kitchen, leaving Stiles looking on after her in frustration. He really hated that girl.
As he left the kitchen, Scott stood at the doorway flashing him a cheerful grin while Lydia stood next to him, looking less that impressed. "Is he really the only person that can drive us to School?" Lydia asked in annoyance as Stiles rolled his eyes at her and groaned. "Erm unfortunately yes sweetheart, so shut up or you'll be walking." Stiles replied with a fake smile as he pushed his way past her rudely and opened the door and she bit the inside of her cheek in frustration. "Normally I'd ride my motorbike but it kinda got totalled in the storm and i can't afford to get it fixed yet." Scott chipped in almost apologetically as he followed Stiles outside, readjusting his bag strap as he did so. Lydia groaned internally as she followed the boys outside, shutting the door behind her.
Stiles opened the door to his jeep as Lydia stopped dead in her tracks. "We're riding in that?!" She questioned quickly as she pointed at his baby blue jeep, making Stiles give her a dirty look. Scott, on the other hand, stayed silent as looked slightly taken aback and worried as he knew how protective Stiles was over his jeep, so he knew shit would kick off. Stiles walked closer to her, his face in a scowl. "Erm 'that' is my jeep and she's my baby thank you! you should count yourself lucky that you get to even ride in her." Stiles turned to his car with a proud smile as he gave her a small pat on the bonnet. Lydia gave him a puzzled look and Scott shook his head at her quickly from behind Stiles as he tried to give her a hint to not go there but she ignored him. "Lucky?! I don't think I'd want to be seen dead in that old rust bucket!" she protested cruelly as she continue to argue with him. Stiles strode toward her angrily, his smile instantly dropping as rage quickly took over. "Hey! you take that back right now! Roscoe is no 'rust bucket' she's in prime condition!" he argued back angrily as he pointed at his car. Lydia crossed her arms, balancing her weight onto one foot as she scoffed at him which only made him more mad.
"Yeah prime condition to be written off...And Oh my god you named your car? you're such a loser." She replied meanly as Stiles squinted his eyes at her in frustration. "Can you guys just get in the car? We're going to be late!" Scott shouted over to them from his seat in the jeep as he left the door open. "Well I'm not going anywhere in that death-trap." Lydia replies stubbornly as she looks away from Stiles, her arms still crossed. "And I'm not going anywhere until she takes what she said about Roscoe back." Stiles responds, equally as stubborn. Scott sighs loudly banging his head on the dashboard in frustration at the two people who were acting like children. "I'm not taking it back! What i said is true." Lydia spoke again as Stiles poked his tongue into the inside of his cheek in irritancy, this was the most annoying person he'd ever met. Stiles quickly whipped out is wallet, flashing a card in her face. "You see that sweetheart? it's called a driving license. where's yours? oh that's right, you don't have one. So if you want to keep criticising my ride you're going to have to walk. But it's a long walk, so either you walk and be late or you shut the fuck up and get in." Stiles said sarcastically as he put away his wallet and walked back over to his jeep, leaning against it with his arms crossed smoothly as he waited on her decision. His face still showed a pissed off expression as he waited for her to speak. "Please just get in Lydia, we're going to be late." Scott joined in once more as he pleaded with her desperately. She looked at him and uncrossed her arms, walking over to the jeep in a huff, her heels clicking obnoxiously on the concrete. "Fine. But i swear to god, you call me sweetheart one more time and I'm going to slap you." Lydia says angrily as she points at Stiles before hopping into the back of the car with some struggle. Stiles leant back off the jeep, smirking at her smugly as he shut her door abruptly on the way past and got into his seat, as they finally set off towards school.
The car ride, to Scott's relief, was silent as the quickly arrived at the school. Scott and Stiles hopped out of the jeep quickly as soon as they parked. Stiles laughed almost cruelly as he watched Lydia struggle to open the back door to get out. He knew the handle on that side got stuck sometimes and you had to open it in a certain way on the inside to actually work it. He waited a few more minutes, revelling in watching her struggle with it. Scott quickly noticed the issue and rolled his eyes. "Stiles please go help her." Scott asked him simply as Stiles groaned at him ruining his fun. "Ugh fine." he walked to the other side of the back door hopping in to Lydia surprise. "W-wha are you doing?" she asked him quickly. "Stop your fretting i'm trying to help you." Stiles reminded her, annoyance laced his voice as he moved across the back seats, practically sat on top of her as their legs touched. "Erm..." Lydia stuttered as she became slightly flustered at his closeness. "Don't get excited sweetheart i'm just showing you how you do it." Stiles replied crudely as she fake smiled at him, getting irritated at his dirty comment. "You fucking wish." she retorted in frustration as he moved his hand over her to the door handle, jiggling it a little before lifting it upwards and then opening it as the door swung open perfectly. He turned to face her, their faces only a few centimetres apart as he smirked at her in a way that seemed almost sexual. "Don't flatter yourself." he smiled at her devilishly as she huffed in annoyance at him before pushing past him and hopping out of the jeep. Stiles laughed at her, shaking his head as he did so, he had to admire how feisty that girl actually was despite her being unbelievably annoying. Scott gave him a confused look as he shook his head at him with a smile, swiftly getting out of the back of the jeep and locking it before walking alongside him and Lydia as they headed into school.
