It had been a few days since Stiles had last spoke to Lydia, as she appeared to be doing a very good job of avoiding him. The first day back at School since the party felt extremely awkward. Lydia seemed hellbent on pretending he was invisible, Scott could barely remember anything from the party, (which definitely worked in Stiles' favour) Allison just looked at him like he was an injured kitten, Isaac spent most of his time bragging about how many girls he supposedly got with at the party and Liam just seemed happy to be with there with Hayden. Stiles seemed to spend a lot of his time zoned out of conversations with the group as he felt mostly apathetic. Seeing Lydia in the hallway at her locker with Jackson whispering in her ear and kissing her definitely didn't help how he felt and he wished he could just talk to her about it. He really didn't understand why his feelings for her seemed to be so intense, he hadn't even dated the girl, or kissed her for that matter, so why did he feel so extremely jealous and protective of her, when she wasn't even his to start of with. He hated it all.
Today particularly seemed to be even more depressing as he'd walked into school first thing just to catch Lydia and Jackson sucking face, then at dinner she had the nerve to bring the dickhead with her as he joined them. Even though he sat there the whole time ignoring them all and messing on his phone. Stiles despised him. He wished he could punch him, but he wasn't stupid he knew for a fact that if he even tried, he'd be sat on his ass so fast, before he could even land his first punch. The biggest nightmare he faced, however, was that now Scott had sobered up, he seemed to have quickly figured out that Stiles was unhappy and that something was bothering him and seemed to have made it his mission to find out, but of course Stiles couldn't tell him. So, instead, he had to just keep lying to him that a distant family member of his was sick, he felt horrible about lying to him but the thought of telling him the truth about his baby sister was definitely worse.
Stiles walked lethargically into the hallway as he made his way to his locker for what felt like the millionth time that week. Just as he got there, he looked down the hall to see Lydia chatting to some of the popular girls that hung around with Jackson's clique, and he rolled his eyes at them before opening up his locker. Today already felt like it was twice as long. He was quickly startled as he closed his locker to find Isaac right behind it with a pretty brunette girl he didn't recognise. "Jesus Christ! You scared the shit out of me you dick!" Stiles yelled at him as he jumped in shock, to which the blonde haired boy chuckled contently. "I see that. That's quite funny." He laughed at him as Stiles scowled. "Honestly, Isaac we might have to start putting a bell on you...now what do you want?" He said impatiently as he repositioned his rucksack.
"Well my miserable friend do I have a treat for you! Do you remember that girl Erica I met at the party? Well this here is her lovely friend Cora, and I thought that it would be...a great idea if you two met, plus it would really do you some good...sooo Cora...this is Stiles, he's a massive dork but I'm sure you'll love him, bye!" And with that the tall blonde boy had rushed off as quickly as he arrived as he left the girl alone with Stiles. Stiles quickly began to feel nervous and awkward as he shook hands with her, cringing internally at his super formal greeting. "H-hey! It's great to meet you. I'm so sorry about him, he's a total man-child." Stiles joked as Cora giggled. "Yeah I noticed that...when I met him at the party he was topless, had some poor girls bright pink bra on his head and was doing shots of tequila out of his shoe!" She explained with a laugh as Stiles grimaced at what she said. "Wow. I don't think there is enough money in the world for someone to pay me to see that." Stiles confessed as the girl laughed again.
"Yeahhh...it was definitely...well it was something that's for sure." She chuckled as Stiles began to feel a little more relaxed. This girl was sweet, and she definitely wasn't bad looking either, she had brown hair that lay perfectly straight on her head, her eyes were a soft angelic brown and she seemed effortlessly attractive. She was taller than Lydia, but Stiles almost felt glad that he didn't have to strain his neck anymore looking down at the girl. Maybe Isaac did a good thing for once?
