Stiles awoke quickly as he felt a heavy object hit him in the top of his head, he sat upright groggily in bed, to find that Scott had thrown a big book at him from the doorway. "What the fu-" Stiles groaned loudly as he rubbed his head, making his hair look even messier than usual. Scott laughed at him. "Do you always sleep in this late? It's nearly 12pm! Get up you lazy ass! We are meeting the group at Deaton's in half an hour, remember?!" Scott moaned at him before heading back downstairs. Stiles ran his hands through his hair sleepily, making it spike on end. Ugh, if only Scott had known that he'd been up most of the night making sure Lydia was safe. Then he'd let him sleep.

He slowly stood up, placing his hands in the air as he stretched his back out, his t-shirt riding up slightly. He padded softly to the bathroom, quickly noticing that he still had his jeans on, he must have been so knackered this morning he forgot to take them off. Stiles suddenly felt glad that he hadn't got out of bed when Scott was here, the jeans would have been hard to explain. He quickly slipped the uncomfortable material down his legs before putting on some grey sweatpants. Stripping his dark grey t-shirt off and replacing it with a tighter black one that accentuated his lean physique.

Stiles stepped in front of the mirror, taking in his appearance. His eyes held slight dark circles underneath and his skin was slightly paler than usual, he looked completely exhausted. He made his way downstairs, yawning quietly as he rubbed his eyes to wake himself up properly. He walked into the kitchen quickly and his eyes widened slightly upon seeing an already sat down Lydia as she read a large book. Her hair was flipped to side in a messy side parting, her makeup light, as she wore some black ripped jeans that accentuated her small waist and a white cropped t-shirt.

She glanced up at him quickly, her emerald eyes meeting his as she gave him a slight smile. The air suddenly felt awkward between the two as he remembered last night; how upset she was, what had happened between her and Jackson, the way she had hugged him...
He swallowed hard, "Morning!" He stated cheerfully at her, as a small smile cracked on her face. "I think you'll find it's actually the afternoon, but I'll let you off Stilinski." She replied playfully with a smirk that made him need to look away from her, as a small blush crept on his cheeks at the use his last name.

"Touché." Stiles responded back quickly with a smile as he walked over to the fridge, grabbing some milk as he went to go make himself a coffee. "Soo...how did you sleep?" He winked at her as he tried to make conversation and she rolled her eyes at him. "Great thank you, Clearly better than you did" Lydia responded back sarcastically as she glanced at his dark circles. "It's okay i don't think I've slept properly since I was like 10 anyway so don't worry about it." He joked back as he brought his newly made coffee over to the breakfast bar, allowing it to warm up his hands. "Oh, I wasn't worrying about it." Lydia smiled back at him and Stiles suddenly felt slightly confused as he took a seat next to hers. She raked her eyes over his body slowly as if only now just taking in his appearance. Was she flirting with him? No. Don't be stupid.

Before he could say anything more, Scott walked into the kitchen, his eyes bright and his smile wide as he saw the pair. "Wow would you look at this! You two actually look like you're getting along for once." He joked as he leant against the kitchen counter, leaning back on his arms. Stiles rolled his eyes at the boy as Lydia chose to ignore him, looking back at her book with a newfound intrigue. "Don't be daft, there is just no more seats." Stiles replied dryly as Lydia side glanced at him with a slight frown sat on her face. Okay, maybe that came out a little harsher than he meant it to.

The light smile on Scott's face slowly began to fade as he stared between the two, feeling the slight tension as he swiftly decided to change the topic. "So Stiles!...where did you sneak off to this morning?" Scott questioned him suddenly, throwing him off completely as he had no idea how he knew. "W-what?" Stiles looked up quickly as Lydia also lifted her head to glance at Scott, her gaze full of worry as she then turned to Stiles, awaiting his response also. "I heard you sneak out this morning, super early, like come on dude you think i don't know the sound of your noisy ass jeep by now?" Scott laughed as he carried on, Stiles quickly began to feel nervous. What was he supposed to say? Lydia was sat right next to him too so he couldn't just tell him the truth, not after he promised her.
