Chapter thirty

3rd POV:

Everyone was in shock at what they heard, except for Carlisle and Bree since they already knew. The person they saw as a daughter/sister had kept one of the most important things in a vampire's life a secret.

They also didn't know how to feel about it. Jasper and Emmett were mad, felt protective, and happy all in one. Alice was very excited. Esme was happy but slightly hurt. Carlisle and Bree were just happy she told the rest of the family. And finally, Edward and Rosalie. They were VERY mad. No debate. Case closed. Shut the book. They hated the wolves and to learn their youngest sister was a mate to one... they hated the idea.

After a minute, Bree came back downstairs. Alex said she wanted to be alone.

Alice was the first to speak.

"Who is it?"

"Seth Clearwater." Rosalie, Edward, and Carlisle said at the same time. Everyone turned to Carlisle. They knew Edward knew because he read Rosalie's mind and Rosalie knew because she caught them. But none knew how Carlisle knew.

"I was there when she first became his mate" They all nodded. After the confusion, everyone, but Rosalie and Edward, got happy/ less protective. They had all heard only good things about the youngest member of the wolf pack.

"Oh, this is great. She finally has a mate! And one we've only heard good things about!" Esme said.

"Rose, you have to let her see him," Emmett told his mate.

"No." Rosalie and Edward told him.

"Why not? She deserves to see him. He is her mate." Jasper told them.

"He's a wolf," Edward told him.

"He can not be our sister's mate. I won't allow it. She can not be mated to a dog." Rosalie said.

"Well she is and she likes him VERY much," Bree said. "Now if you don't mind. I'm going to see how my sister is."

With that, she got up and ran to her bedroom that she shared with Alex.

But she came down a minute later.

"Guys, she's not in her room." With that Rosalie and Edward ran out of the house to hunt down their sister.

But after they realized nobody else followed they turned back.

"Why aren't you guys coming?" Rosalie seethed.

"We will not stand with you," Esme told them.

"Our sister deserves her mate and we won't help you stop her from seeing him," Alice added.

With that, Rosalie and Edward once again left.

They finally came across the spot where Seth and Alex met every day.

"Seth. Seth are you there?" Alex whisper shouted to the other side of the creek. She had been there for five minutes in hopes he would be there. Or one of the shape-shifters would see her and get him.

"Alex," Edward said. She turned to him. Sadness was evident in her eyes.

"We're going home." He grabbed her arm and dragged her back to the house as she was too weak from not eating and heartbroken to fight back. But her siblings both missed the note that was placed on a tree, on the exact branch where Alex and Seth hung from to talk every day. Just waiting for the person it was meant for to find it.

The letter:

My dearest, Seth,

I have been forbidden from seeing you. For how long? I don't know. But I promise we will see each other again. I love my family dearly and will respect their wishes but not without trying to reach you. I hear my family talking, everyone but Rosalie and Edward wants me to be with you.

Edward is being a pain in the ass. He may act like to sole reason is that he isn't too fond of you guys right now but the reason is he's the most protective. I hope he will come around soon. Rosalie, she just doesn't like you guys which I don't know why. She will be the hardest to crack. Hopefully, she'll break soon.
