Peter Parker x Reader

you catch feelings for Peter Parker, but he's from another universe.

"Where are Peter and MJ?" Ned asks you.

"I bet that they're on the school's rooftop to get some time alone," you say.

"They're disgusting," he replies. "I mean, they're insanely cute, but they're too cheesy".

You chuckle.

"I agree".

The two of you sit down on a bench in front of the school. Ned's wearing a pair of sunglasses. The weather is really beautiful, the sun is warm and a little wing of wind is caressing your hair.

"y/n, can I ask you something?" He suddenly asks you and you nod. "Why didn't you apply to the MIT with us? Is it because you and Peter didn't get together? I thought there was something going on between you two".

You shake your head, giving him a smile.

"No, Ned. MIT is not my thing. I want to figure out who I am and where I belong, before I apply to any college," you tell him. "About Peter... I just think that we didn't click. You know, when something has to happen, it just happens. Maybe we are just destined to be friends," you reply.

He turns his head in order to look at you, even if you can't see his eyes because of the sunglasses.

"So you didn't feel anything for him?"

"I mean... sure, I did, but there weren't sparkles between us. When you find your person, it's like you feel a click in your head that tells you that. When it'll be my turn, I'll know".

***time skip***

"Come on, Ned! Think of Peter. You can do this," you encourage him.

Ned's trying to open a Portal with Doctor Strange's magic ring, next to MJ, in his house. You're on his right, hoping that he finds Peter, who's surely in trouble and he needs his friends right now. When Ned told you that Peter was Spider-Man – actually, it slipped away from his mouth, Peter didn't want you to know – you could have never imagined that one day, you would have helped him in a war against some supervillains. This is insane, but he's your friend and friends help each other.

"Peter, Peter... I need to find Peter Parker," Ned whispers.

That's when a portal appears. It's beautiful and full of light all around it. You can see somebody with a Spider-Man's costume in a dark alley. He's heading towards you guys, but halfway through you realize that his costume is different and he's not your friend Peter.

"Hey!" He greets you and as soon as you hear his voice, you feel chills all over your body.

You don't know why, but while he's talking with Ned and MJ, you feel your heart starting to beat faster and faster in your chest. It's a strange feeling, something you experienced a long time ago with Peter. your friend peter, not this peter.... apparently, his name is Peter too. The irony!

It's when he takes off his mask that you feel shivers running down your spine. It almost feels like a dream. His eyes are incredibly brown as chocolate and he looks really handsome. You're starting to feel butterflies in your stomach.

"Hi," he tells you, looking directly at your face. "What's your name?" He asks you with a smile.

And that's when you feel it. some click. It's like he's flipped a switch in your head. His bright smile lit all the lights in the rooms of your mind. In this exact moment, you know that you've fallen.

"y/n. It's y/n," you murmur.

"Nice to meet you, y/n. I'm Peter. Parker. Of course," he says.

Oh, you're so screwed.
