Niall

"Fucking shit. Come on, Ni."

Whispering to myself as I tried to pull my pants up my legs without waking up the raven haired girl who was naked, wrapped up in the crimson sheets.

Leaving Foxy with her wasn't the worst idea I've ever had, but it definitely did nothing to cure the weird battle I was having internally about my feelings towards Rigby, and I knew it.

Waking up this morning and seeing the ink colored hair fanned out across the pillow next to me, my chest ached at how much I wanted it to be a perfect shade of honey brown instead. How I wanted to know what it would feel like to wake up with her, to feel her skin on mine, to see the way the early golden sun would dance across her skin.

I thought that maybe, just maybe, if I slept with someone that she wouldn't plague my thoughts like she seemed to have been doing. If I could just ignore how I felt, that it would be fine, brushing off what other people said to me and that I could put on a disguise and go undetected. Truly hoping that if I could make other people think I didn't care past a friendship that I would believe it for myself too.

Finally getting my pants on, I pulled my shirt over my head as I grabbed my phone off the charger that Kelly so graciously offered to me. Turning it over and tapping the screen, I internally groaned and stared up at the ceiling thinking about all the notifications that were staring back at me but only being able to focus on two of them.

Shit. Shit. Shit.

I didn't really say much to anyone when I left, actually, I think Rigby is the one who saw me leave as Kelly took my hand in hers and led the way out of the club.

We barely made it in the door of her place before I had her pinned against the wall as she unbuttoned my shirt. Everything was quick and calculated. I knew what I needed to get off and she was quick to tell me what she needed.

"Trying to sneak out so early, huh?"

Jumping and almost launching my phone across the room, I looked at her as she sat up and let the sheets fall down to her hips and exposed her bare chest to me.

"Um, I'm sorry I-"

"Don't worry about it, I'll let you out." Smiling at me, she threw the duvet off her body and shamelessly crawled out of her bed. "So, did you forget about her yet?"

"Wha—, um. I, uh—" I stuttered as she walked past me, laughing at my apparent stupidity.

"It's okay, pretty boy. I saw the way you looked at that brunette. Let me guess, you guys are just friends?" Asking me as we rounded the corner of her bedroom heading towards the hall.

"Um, yeah. We are." Scratching the stubble along my jaw, my mouth just started going without connecting to my brain. "I don't know, there's something about her but she's seeing someone. I can't really let myself think like that."

"Listen pretty boy." We were in her living room at this point as she put on a sweater that was sitting on her couch.. "You can think whatever you want. But trust me when I say, that girl looked at you the same way you looked at her."

"What do you mean?"

Sighing, she crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back against the couch looking me over. "I thought you were attractive when I first saw you last night, so I paid attention. When you weren't looking she stole the same glances that you did."
