// last night in busan //

The group were sitting in the living room, thinking what food they should get for midnight. "Chicken?"

"How about samgyeopsal?" Jackson suggested.

"Budaejjigae and uh... Chicken?" Jinyoung suggested. "Hey, that actually sound warm and good." Bambam agreed with Jinyoung's suggestion and later the rest agreed too. "Alright, I'll go buy some then!" Jinyoung take his jacket and went to buy the foods.

"This guy literally said that it was his first time in Busan." Jaebum look at the front door. "I'll go with him." Mark volunteered and wear his sweater.

Later, Mark found Jinyoung staring at the beach instead. "Anything on your mind?" Mark came up from behind. "Oh, uh... nothing." Jinyoung denied.

"Of course something is on your mind." Mark insisted. "Remember the night that we fought. I think it was Spring 2014? We were fighting about how bad I was and later you found out I had depression and major anxiety." Jinyoung opened up.

"Yeah, I remember that one."

"Days later, I was doing fine like usual. But then after that I was doing bad again. It became a loop until now." Jinyoung sit on the sand, just admiring the sound of the beach waves. "Hey, are you alright?"

"I don't know if I'm alright. My grandma had to work too to pay for foods and rents. I'm not working this summer, instead I'm going out with my friends. I feel bad."

Mark could just look down on his feet. Two friends with different backgrounds and big gaps. "Nyoung, you don't have to worry you know. You have all of us, me, Jaebum and the rest. We can all help you and your grandma too." Mark offered.

"I wanted- no, I needed help. But part of me couldn't ask for it, I don't know why. I just can't." Jinyoung felt like he should be crying but he couldn't. "Well, opening up is the first step, isn't it?" Mark smiled.

"Yeah, first step." Jinyoung slightly smiled. "You don't have to rush, you know? Just take it slowly because changing yourself drastically could be useless. We're there for you." Mark put a little of courage inside of Jinyoung's dark mind.

"I don't know how long I will last with you guys, because I'm sure that everyone leaves in the end."

That word hit Mark so hard. He remembered how he fought with Jinyoung back then, how he left him first before knowing about his issues. "I'm sorry about the pas-"

"Don't. It was my fault for starting it." Jinyoung cut Mark off.

"And it was my fault for not understanding you."

The two look at each other. "Friends?" Mark hold out his hand to offer a new start for the friendship. Jinyoung was hesitant, but he wanted to accept changes in his life. "Friends." They smiled.

"Now, let's go get some budaejjigae and chicken before they come down looking for us." Mark laughed.

"One question though, will you leave me even if I start the fight like back then?" Jinyoung anxiously asked.

"This time, I won't. Even if one of us leave, I'll find a way to fix it over and over again. I can't leave you after knowing what actually happened." Mark said. "Slowly, right?" Jinyoung smiled.

"Slowly."
