broken apologize

Its been two hours since Yugyeom ran away and the others were worried. "Where is he? Is he not hungry? Is he alright?" Mark keep pacing back and forth, worrying about Yugyeom. "I think its time we should look for him." Jaebum suggested.

"Bam and Youngjae, you guys stay here in case if Yugyeom came back. Jinyoung, Jackson and Mark, we should all look for him. If anything, just use this emergency whistle, you understand?" All five of them understood and the older went to look out for Yugyeom.

"Let's go in pair. Jinyoung, you got the map, right?" Jaebum asked. "Yeah, I got it."

"Alright then, Jinyoung, you go with Mark. Jackson, you're with me." The two starts to split up and look for Yugyeom. "I really didn't mean to punch him, I was just panicked." Guilt starts to running around Mark's mind.

"Hey, its understandable. I'm sure Yugyeom will understand too. He'll be fine, we'll find him." Jinyoung reassured Mark's messy mind. "What if we found him dead."

The conversation went dead silent. "Hey, what are you talking about? Yugyeom is strong, alright?"

"I just can't help but to think like that. You've seen the trial video." Mark explained. "Come on Mark, it will be fine. You got anything from Yugyeom yet?"

Mark pull out his phone to see zero notifications on his lockscreen. "No, still nothing from him."

The two finally meets with a different path split into two. "You wanna split?" Mark suggested.

"Sounds like the worst idea ever but yeah, if anything just use the whistle." Jinyoung reminded. "Alright, we meet back here, alright?" The two split into different path.

Jinyoung just keep walking even if the feeling is really eerie. "Oh come on! Not right now!" He keeps knocking the flashlight but eventually it went out. He felt like something else is bright so he went to it and turns out its Yugyeom's phone but its broken. "What the heck..." he opened it to find sunset's picture from the top hill and a voice note.

"Ah- Uhm- Test- Ah, alright. Hey there- goddamn who am I talking to, I'm just alone and I wanna let thoughts speak. There's a saying, 'What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas' and I thought the same like today's incident. I know Mark is from LA so I wouldn't find it weird for him to act like that. Maybe the school in LA often broke the lock, haha, what am I talking about."

"I just felt like I betrayed the rest of my friends. Punching Mark, getting Jinyoung-hyung hurt. Hell, I even told Jackson, Youngjae and even Bammie, the person that I trust the most to fuck off. Why would I say that? I often tell myself to think before I say anything or act, but why am I like this? What happened to me... Ah, what am I talking about. I should go back and apologize to Mark."

"This kid sounds broken..." Jinyoung thoughts. "Is it because of his traumatic past? I should find him faster and comfort him."

Jinyoung turn around and he wasn't expecting a baseball bat to meet his head.
