choco shake

After school, Yugyeom took the long way home. He stop by places to buy essential stuffs and some non-sense stuffs.

"Ah, they have YK cafe here, just nice." He step into the cafe and look around.

"Hello, chocolate shake for one?"

Yugyeom immediately shoot his face up after he recognized the familiar voice. "Oh- Jae-hyung! That's why the worker told me that you actually moved."

"Yeah, well, I got to be a manager here." Jae smiled. "Yeah, I'll actually have the usual one."

"So, you got into your dream school?" Jae-hyung look at Yugyeom's blazer. "Oh, yeah! I wanted to go for Seoul Science High School but I don't like dormitory so I had to go here."

"Daegu, three hours away from Seoul. You really came all the way here." Jae laughed. Yugyeom just smiled.

"Go take a seat, I'll bring you your drink."

Yugyeom thanked the older and just went to take a seat next to the window.

"You honestly suck at everything!" Seun-ho shouted at Yugyeom. "But I did it!"

The two 9-years-old kid just kept fighting about their GameBoy. It got to the point where Seun-ho threw a book at Yugyeom and leaving him alone.

Yugyeom just sit in the middle of the alley crying his heart out. A middle schooler came to Yugyeom with a handkerchief and wipe his tears out.

"Hey, what's wrong?" The teenager asked.

"Seun-ho got mad at me because I sucked at GameBoy and now I don't have any friends." He cried.

The teen did felt bad. "Do you like chocolate shake?"

The kid slowly stop sobbing. "Aha~ You like chocolate shake, right? Let hyung buy you one, come on!"

The teen hold out his hand and Yugyeom reach it out. After buying chocolate shake, they just hang out by the store. "If you don't have any friends, can I be your friends?"

"My mom said we can't be friends if we don't know each other."

The teen just smiled at the cuteness. "Alright then, my name is Park Jae-hyung and I study at GGG High School." Jae reach out his hand to shake hands.

"My name is Kim Yugyeom and I study at MMM Primary School." He smiled while shaking hands with Jae.

"One chocolate shake for Kim Yugyeom!" Jae came while serving the drink.

"Thank you hyung." He smiled as he sip his drink. "So, tell me about your day."

"Just the usual to be honest."

"Did you make friends?" Jae asked.

"A little, yeah. They're good, basically a few grades above me. At first I was terrified because I almost bumped into three foreigners."

"Foreigners?" Jae started to look worried.

"Well, not actually bumped. I was having my lunch at the rooftop when I heard them. They got sent here by their parents."

Jae just nod as he listens to the younger. "Well, I have to go back to work. Feel free to drop by anytime, and here's my address." Jae smiled as he wave towards Yugyeom.

Yugyeom starts to feel a little cold due to the weather but he kept chanting just a little more in his head when he's just two building away from his apartment.

He got into the elevator and press the 27th floor, but the door opened as someone holds it. "Sorry, I didn't saw you." Yugyeom apologized.

As the guy got into the elevator, they just realized about one thing.

"I've never seen you before." The student speak up.

Yugyeom turn his head and saw a student wearing the same uniform as him.

"Oh, I'm a new student from class 1-2, Kim Yugyeom."

"That explains it, I'm Yi-en Tuan, but you can call me Mark. I'm from class 5-4. You wanna come over tonight for housewarming party?"

No. "Uh-" Yugyeom hasn't even finished his sentence. "Great! I'll see you tonight at 8! I live at 3051." The senior smiled and Yugyeom got off the elevator.

"I am literally fu-" he sighed. He just walk into his apartment and admire the good city view from his condo.

"A foreign senior living in the same building as me. What could go wrong?" He huffed out a laugh as he reach for his hoodie.

He was scared that it would be bad, but actually good.
