The Secret Door

Chapter 2

Lizzy went home. She opened the door and went into the kitchen where her mother, Mrs. Smith was making lunch.

"Hi darling! How are you? How was school?" asked Mrs. Smith.

"Hi mom! Well, school was not great because Tia almost tried to hit me on the face with a dodge ball! But Gaze asked me to come to her house today at 4p.m. so we could have a sleepover for two days," replied Lizzy.

"Oh dear, Tia sounds like she is mean. But I'm ok for the sleepover. But you must finish your homework before you go. You've got a lot of time for packing so finish your homework. Ok Lizzy?" Asked Mrs. Smith.

"Yes mum," replied Lizzy and excitedly went upstairs and finished her homework superfast and started her packing.

She got her cozy blanket, a pair of boots (just in case), some sneakers, dresses, her toothbrush and she went downstairs and took her bottle. And then that was all.

And then at 3.50 she left home and picked up Jane and headed off to Gaze's house.

So sorry for the short chapter, but it will get better!
