Return

A rush of emotions hits Krist when he finally lands back in the place he never thought of returning. The place that was once his home, the place that witnessed his life turning into hell, the place he once left with no wish to return.

Finally, after 10 long years, he is back in Bangkok. He shakes his head and comes out of his thoughts. Thinking about his main reason to be here, he finally gets a hold of his emotions and walks out of the airport confidently along with his Phis. 

The first thing Krist notices after coming out is his crazy PA who is waving like a maniac with a huge grin and shouting him funny names like a banshee. He shakes his head and goes to Nat who hugs him tight as soon as he is within her reach. 

Krist questions all his life decisions while being shaken madly by Nat. He is not sure why he hired this clown as his PA in the 1st place. Thanks to her, they became the center of attention for the whole airport as everyone was looking at them weirdly. 

Finally, Nat loses the hug and gets a glare from Krist, but she ignores it and grins. Leon, who was ignored completely (thanks to Nat), finally greets Krist with a warm hug and questions if he is ok to which the latter nods and reassures him. 

They all drive back home and are greeted by the house helpers. The helpers take their luggage back to their rooms while they go to eat some food after such a long flight. After a while, Nat takes her leave saying that the couples should rest while giving an evil smirk.

She rushes out of the door and laughs loudly when Krist throws a tissue box at her. Leon doesn't even say a word. After 10 years, he is kind of used to these 2 and to ensure his peaceful life, he ignores their antics. He takes Krist to their room while the helpers clean the dining table. 

Krist feels warm on seeing the room that is almost the same as his room in the US. Leon grins proudly saying that when he came here first, the 1st thing he did was to renovate their room same as back in the US to make it more homely. 

Krist shakes his head and chuckles. But seriously, seeing the room gives him some sense of similarity and comfort. They sit on the bed where Leon puts on a serious face and questions Krist about his feelings about coming back. 

He knows how big of a deal it is for Krist to return to the last place he ever wanted to be. He knows how much courage it took for Krist to return for the sake of this project. He has been worried since the project was decided along with the need for both of them to be here.

Even though he didn't want to leave Krist alone back in the US, he had to reluctantly. Being the head and owner of this project, he had to be here. As for Krist, he has been his support since he even thought about this project, so his presence meant a lot too.

Krist listens to him rant for a while and then gives him a warm smile filled with reassurance that everything is fine. He assures him that he left the past behind and is ready for the future. Leon also calms once he feels sure that Krist would be fine. 

They talk for a while regarding the SMH arrangements. Later, they both take some rest before Nat decides to disturb them again with the rest of their friends. Everyone has been excited to see LeonKrist given this duo has never returned even once all these years.

Well none of them realize that there might be a certain mom who might panic about them and the nonexistent call that was supposed to be made after returning home and also a helpless dad who is trying to calm that deadly mom.

But they finally remember it when a helper tells them about Prae's missed call. Being her favorite and the youngest, Krist is chosen by everyone to call her back. He pouts at being thrown under the bus and calls his Prae who starts nagging the moment it connects. 

She lash out asking if he is ok, feeling comfortable, if they need help, should she come back, how are the rest, whether is Leon behaving, how is LeoFiat, and why the fuck no one called. They all look at each other knowing they are as good as dead once she returns.

Krist calms his worrying mom and assures her that everyone and everything is completely fine. He talks to her for a while regarding their return, wedding news banquet, SMH project, and many more. Krist finally cuts a call and the rest heave a sigh of relief.

The next few days go blissfully. Leon gets busy with the paperwork and finalizes everything after a detailed discussion with Krist. Krist is also working on writing his new book with the help of Natsu who is handling the details. 

Krist has been cooped up in the house all this time while Leon had to go back and forth all day regarding the work. On the weekend, both of them decide to take a break and go out to eat. Krist hesitates initially but finally nods looking at Leon's pleading gaze.

They both go for a long drive and then decide to eat some Chinese food. Leon discusses the opening of the project. He explains how everything is ready to be launched thanks to every department that put their best efforts into it. 

Krist nods in understanding while enjoying the chicken soup. Leon continues explaining that now given everything is ready, they will soon hold a final meeting for the project to thank everyone participation and hard work.

Krist stops eating and looks at him to continue. Leon mentions that all the heads involved in this would be present in the meeting, which they both have to address. Krist nods saying that he would like to meet them too.

Krist stayed in the US throughout the SMH project. He didn't want to return before, but he promised Leon that he would personally be there with him once their dream came to reality. Leon never forced him to come too, but still kept him updated about everything. 

Leon sighs and tells Krist that he might meet some of his family members in that meeting given they are also part of this project. Krist cuts him off saying that he already knows that. Leon nods and remembers the time when they discussed choosing the proposals.

He already told Krist who all applied to get the project for the construction and also the staff for the hospital. He was mad when he saw multiple familiar names on the list and was reluctant to let any of them be a part of it.

But, later after talking to Krist, he agreed to keep the personal and professional relations apart as Krist said. After all, they wanted the best for their hospital and every chosen person was there due to their skills not connections, so they couldn't do injustice due to the personal reasons.

It was a big shock for their family when Leon told them about the chosen people. No one knew that Leon would even consider working with them. Even in the business circle, they never interacted with any of them much.

Not that they were bad or Krist didn't want it, but there was no work opportunity before. Even this time, Leon considered Jaturapoom company only because their proposal was the best and was able to meet their expectations. 

Krist looks at Leon who is lost in deep thoughts and shakes him. He says that it was their dream project that they had wished for so long, and he didn't want his past to be an obstacle for him. Moreover, personal and professional relations should never be mixed.

Also, his husband trusted him enough that he kept him updated about everything all the time and also took his advice and ideas into consideration at every step. He assures him that he will attend the meeting. Leon chuckles at Krist's wordings and relaxes his mind.
