Somewhere far away,

The next morning, Natsu wakes up Krist for breakfast to which the latter gives a weak nod. They eat breakfast silently and none of them tries to initiate the talk. 

Last night, Natsu brought him to her apartment and they had a heart-to-heart talk about everything. Krist just said everything like a robot unlike when he talked to Knot.

He already left everything back and just wanted to erase it from his memory. She was enraged on hearing it and was hell-bent on beating those people but held it back due to Krist. 

Things slowly started to get better as a few days passed by. Natsu kept her promise of keeping Krist secret, so no one knew that Krist lived at her apartment.

While Krist, on much nagging from Natsu for days, started paying little attention to his health. He stayed mostly in his room doing the only thing left that he loved the most. 

No matter how much Natsu ask him to go out or at least have some fresh air, Krist would always deny it and find his escape from the outer world in the comfort of that room. 

2 months passed by in the blink of an eye. Natsu, being the coach of her college basketball team, was stressed about the upcoming basketball match between her team and their biggest rival. 

This is why Krist didn't tell her about him feeling sick. He didn't want to stress her more as the latter has already done a lot for him. 

1 day, Krist was busy cleaning the house while Natsu was busy at college. Krist felt dizzy and tried to hold himself in the kitchen, but his vision was becoming blurry. 

He somehow managed to wobble towards the living room but lost consciousness before reaching the couch completely unaware of the panic he got others. 

The next time he woke up, he only saw a glaring Natsu and some unknown faces holding Natsu back. He looked around only to find himself in 1 of the hospital rooms. 

He flinched when an unknown boy steped forward to help him, so the latter stopped on his feet. He noticed another one was holding the wild cat tight, so she won't tear Krist apart. 

After a few minutes of ranting and glaring, Natsu calmed down and Krist apologized for hiding his sickness. Natsu sighed and hugged him tightly. 

She noticed Krist looking at the 2 unknown faces and introduced her 2 friends LeoFiat to him who helped her get Krist to the hospital. 

She told him that they were also in their 3rd year of college just like her. Natsu nags Krist about how she got scared of finding him passed out near the couch and screamed. 

LeoFiat who came to drop her home heard it and rushed to her only to find Krist passed out. She mentions that they helped her get him to the hospital.

Krist thanked them and apologized for the trouble he caused. Meanwhile, the doctor enters the room and checks on Krist. He suggests talking to him alone about something important. 

LeoFiat nod and leave the room while Krist holds Natsu back who understood the younger's tense look and stays for moral support. 

The doctor left after 15 minutes and LeoFiat entered the room only to find a crying Krist and paled Natsu. They were curious too but couldn't ask given the atmosphere. 

Krist keeps crying and cursing his life. He feels dejected and hopeless while Natsu just hugs him and mumbles reassuring words. She pats the poor boy in daze.

Leo tells them that the doctor already discharged Krist with a few medications to which they just give a small nod. After a while, he drives them all back to Natsu's place.
