Zyren looked at Xul with a smile, but Xul unheld his hand and just walked away, ignoring his friend who was left alone.Xul didn't mean to ignore him, however he needed to calm his mind, before facing Zyren again.Confused on what happened, Zyren asked Kazimir about what happened, but his other self shook his head left and right.
"I don't know, however..."
"However?"
"No, nevermind, maybe just ask him, instead of -"
"Ah right I get it!"
"Why are you getting mad at me when you're the one who asked me in the first place?"
"Sigh~ sorry, I'm just shocked that he ignored me."
Then suddenly Zyren threw a fit by kicking a wall.
"I'm mad!"
"Is that because you finally made a friend you trust, but now he is ignoring you?"
"..."
"You didn't answer, that means 'yes'."
Zyren crouched down, laying his back on the wall and pouting.
"He better have a reason for ignoring him, or I'll massacre everyone in here, just like what he wrote in his original novel"
Kazimir shrugged and slowly disappeared with a smile. Ciros then came and saw Zyren sitting down, he then looked left and right looking for Xul, however he was out of sight.
"Zy-"
"Don't bother asking me, I don't know where he went too"
Ciros let him be and sat beside him as he watched the students register and hop on the military trucks that had arrived earlier to transport all of the volunteers to the borders. Xul then came back after cooling his head and unexpectedly bowed down to Zyren.
"I'm sorry for ignoring you earlier"
Zyren then jumped up from his seat and felt happy that his friend came back and apologized, but still remains a serious expression.
"I guess you have a reason for doing that"
Zyren expects an answer but only hears another 'sorry' from his friend. Ciros then got up and patted both of the boys shoulders and smiled.
"Just make up already, I don't know what happened but, Xul already apologies and I know Zyren was just putting a show"
Xul looked up and stood up straight as he heard a chuckle. Zyren couldn't hide his laughter any longer and hugged his friend tightly. Xul on the other hand hesitated for a second and patted his friend back. looking at the two making up, Ciros was relieved and called them to follow.
following Ciros to his Jeep, Zyren talked.
"the city will be safe now, after we subdue and reclaim the second wall. right"
Xul flinched and laughed awkwardly.
"yes"
'no, I lied, the city wasn't safe either'
Xul said to himself silently as he looked back at the city before opening the door.
'more and more disasters will come'
recalling what he wrote, he shook his head and looked at the people being left behind, before opening the door.
'I'm not a hero'
riding in he looked at Zyren, who seem excited.
"its been a long time since I will be going on Adventure, I'll be trusting my back at you now, Xul"
'don't trust me, for I don't know what is really my role in this world? I might introduce myself to you as an author of this world, but who knows, I could be a villain for not telling these to you.'
