Chapter 14: Trouble at the Moon Festival

Nakosir stood out in the royal chambers with princess Novaliera admiring the preparations that just have been made.

"Everything looks great, Your Highness. You have done a great job with this festival tonight." He looks at the kingdom that has been dressed with moonlight, decor, and luminescence.

"Nakosir, really?" She clapped her hands so proud that she did it by herself, but listed servants to set everything up since her brother was nowhere in sight. "Wait, have you seen my brother? I haven't see Nideru at all today. I mean I was half asleep he said something, but I don't really remember." Novaliera lowered her head.

"Maybe two or three hours ago? Earlier this morning, he went out so he is probably still out somewhere." Nakosir smiled, "Don't worry, he will be back soon."

"You think so?" She asked her knight. "I hope he comes around soon. He has been kinda strange lately and maybe the fresh air will help him."

"Yeah," He nodded his head, "Just wait until he sees what you did and what you're wearing. You look lovely this evening." Nakosir smiled at the princess.

She smiled and looked away, "Don't we all look marvelous this full moon night. Just look at them," She leaned down from the balcony, "My subjects do look like they are ready to celebrate. I also can't wait to see Nideru! He said he was-"

Suddenly a voice interrupted the princess, "And who might you be talking about, sister?" The prince grinned as he came up behind her.

"My beloved Nideru!" The princess exclaimed, "Hey are you feeling alright?"

The prince blinked unsure what she is talking about, "What?" He asked in confusion, "Why did something happen?"

She shook her head, "I'm fine, but I was wondering about you. Lately you were acting odd." She looks down and fiddled with her fingers, "Are you alright, brother?"

The prince gives her a smile, "Novalie, I've never been better. Tonight we will participate in this festival together." Niderudion looking down and let out a long breath, "I'm just glad we are able to go other places instead of staying here weeks on end."

Nakosir smirked, "I bet you did." Their knight at that same moment was looking down at his Lervizon. He pressed a button before saying, "Narica, what did you do to fulfill the prince's fantasies?"

"What did you say?" The prince turned to him, not quite catching what he said. Though he knew who he was referring to.

"J-just forget it!" He shook his head back in forth.

The prince sighed, ignoring him and turned to his sister, "Look, I promise I'll never let anything happen to you again." He puts his hands at his sisters shoulder. "If it does happen, it shall be forbidden."
