Chapter 5: Together Again
Novaliera and Niderudion were in closed corners. They have been separated in two different rooms as request of the reedins. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, they were allowed to see each other after.
A servant knocked on the door where Novaliera was residing in. "Your Highness! Thank goodness you are awake. Now I don't have to wake until later to tell you. Please, come this way. Your brother, His Highness is in room 478 SA-Moon." The servant politely smiled.
"Niderudion?!" The princess gasped, "Show me! Show me where my brother is!" The young princess demanded.
Novaliera felt a mixed of emotions as she walked toward the room he resided in. She felt odd and alone being away from her brother as she walked. Usually he would be there as he helped her.
Then she saw the room. Her hand lingered on the handle before she opened it.
She saw her twin. Her beautiful twin with his long, swaying crimson-orange hair. His midnight-blue eyes were closed and was resting peacefully. In his hair were several strings of Novaliera's breathtaking azure-blue hair. Novaliera's sighed in relief as she looked at her twin. She hoped he was alright. She wouldn't ever want something involving life and death to separate her. He was her as she was he, her other half. The other self that was gifted into two beings.
"Novalie..." The prince breathed as he opened his eyes. He was smiling, but being separated changed something.
Everything would be different now.
He would be able to go places without his sister, now that he is used to it. Without Novaliera, it would be easier to go anywhere without her. He could fight the reedins and the darkened ones without endangering her either. This revaluation made him realize he could survive without her being with him all the time. He loved and cared for her, but because of that he wanted to protect her. He wanted to reach their goal of both being the heirs of this kingdom, while also denying anything from the reedins.
He wanted to show the Legendarians who they really were. And that he wanted to do without her, so he could protect her.
"Niderudion, you're awake!" The princess smiled in glee. Her eyes were starring at her brother in a way that wanted to know something. She was pleading that Niderudion would be alright. Like Niderudion who had some strings of Novaliera's azure's hair, she also had some of his beautiful crimson-orange hair.
"I am so glad you are here." He smiled thinking how he didn't want to be with anyone else, except for her. She was his sister, his twin, the 368 female princess of their kingdom, and lastly his other self, Nova.
"I couldn't wait to see you. It has been forever... I was afraid you would never want to see me." Novaliera looked down as she fretted with her hands.
"Nova, I would never want to be without you. Not a minute, not an hour, not a day, not a week, not a month, not a year, not a decade, not a century, and not a millennia." He didn't care, he doesn't want to be in separate places. He would ensure the safety of the other version of himself. And he would only be without her when protecting her.
