~Corey's POV~

I sit on one of the beds with Joey and Snuffy as we go through everything we've gathered, meanwhile Billy talks to Yogurt about this airplane that Yogurt built

"Billy, we've got enough to do without you thinking up more ideas"

Snuffy says as he looks up at Billy as he writes some notes

"Excuse me. I'm having a private conversation with Yogurt"

Billy says in response as he looks over at Snuffy before going back to Yogurt

"So, Yogurt, this is the chip that sends the radio signals to the plane?"

Billy ask Yogurt wanting to figure out more about it

"Right"

Yogurt says while looking at the plane's control

"And it's the same kind of chip that he's got in the garage door-opener thing that's wrapped around his wrist? The one that controls the explosives?"

Billy continues to ask referring to Cali and as Billy put it the garage door-opener thing on his wrist

"Well, it should be. I mean, all chips aren't standardized"

Yogurt says as he looks over at all of us while talking about something none of us know anything about

"Well, then, if we could somehow switch these chips, then we could control the bombs with this and he would just control the plane with his wrist deal?"

Billy says as we all look at him confused

"Right"

Yogurt says completely agree with Billy which just makes me more nervous

"Don't be ridiculous. First of all, the guy's got the remote control tied around his wrist all the time. How are you gonna get it?"

I ask while looking up at Billy from my sitting position

"I think he has a point"

Snuffy says agreeing with me as I look over a Joey who looks like he's stuck in thought

"Come on, he could be knocked out"

Joey says wanting to support his best friend but I'm trying to be realistic

"There is no way that anybody could knock him out without giving him time to press the button and his men would just shoot you if you did"

Ricky says siding with me as I look over at him and smiles before feeling Joey grip my thigh in a jealous protective way

"Maybe"

Billy says finally sounding rational as I look at some of Joey's drawings he did throughout the day

"Even if you could get it, why switch the chips? You can just get that thing and flush it down the toilet"

Hank ask questioning Billy's idea as I look back at him

"Getting the information out, I guess we're doing all we can do"

Billy says completely forgetting about his idea for the time being as I go back to looking at Joey's drawings

"Here, what do you think of this?"

Snuffy ask while handing notes off to Billy so he can look at them

"Is it legible?"

Billy jokes as Joey hands him all the drawings he's done

"Only if you know how to read"

I joke back defending Snuffy as I earn a smile from Billy

"I told you the searchlight would be important"

Joey says while look over at me as I smile at him still wearing his brown jacket

"Of course, the reverse is also true"

Yogurt says outta nowhere catching us all off guard as Joey looks at him confused

"What the hell do you mean the reverse is also true?"

Joey says with a laugh while yogurt picks up his plane and brings it over to us

"What I mean is, if you take the other chip, the receiving chip out of the plane then you can replace it with the receiving chip in the detonator"

Yogurt says while handing the chip to Billy

"Oh, yeah, that's wonderful. Now all we have to do is get Cali out of the Headmaster's office which he hardly ever leaves, sneak past the guard, switch the chips without setting off the bombs, and then get out without being seen"

Snuffy says with clear sarcasm in his voice which makes me laugh

"That's right. That's it exactly"

Billy says while looking at Snuffy and handing the chip over to Yogurt

"He was attempting to be sarcastic"

I say while looking at Billy who looks at me and then at Snuffy

"Well, he shouldn't have been. He should have been writing it down"

Billy says as he points at his notebook

"Stop it, Billy. You're beginning to scare me"

Hank says as he places his hand on my shoulder causing Joey to clench his jaw and grab my hand tightly

"Seriously Billy these are great ideas but also really dangerous. What if one if not all of us get hurt?"

I say while looking up at him concerned about the entire situation

"Corey, I understand your concern but just trust me on this. If the eight of us work together than we can get ourselves and everyone else out of this alive"

Billy says leaning down and looking into my eyes reassuring me that I can trust him and this plan

After a couple more minutes of figuring everything out we decide that we better get some rest

Joey and myself walking over to the corner of the room, sitting down and talking to each other

"So you gonna introduce me to your mother when we get outta here?"

I say while looking up at Joey and smiling wide

He looks into my eyes and smiles as he grabs my hand tightly in his

"As soon as we get outta here I'm taking you on a proper date. I don't think our walk around the quad counts"

He says with a smile as I giggle and cuddle against his chest, feeling his arms wrap around me

"Thank you"

I say while laying on his chest, enjoying the soothing sound of his heartbeat

"For what?"

He ask while looking down at me and rubbing on my arm

"For being the most amazing person I've ever met. I've never had someone care for me as mush as you do in a boyfriend or even a friend type of way"

I say while laying on his chest and rubbing on it

"Does that mean I'm your boyfriend?"

He ask smiling as I blush and bite my bottom lip, looking up at him and nodding

"Yes I think it does"

I say as he smiles and leans down to kiss my forehead

We stare at each other for a couple minutes in silence before it's interrupted by Hank

"Alright love birds we're real happy for you now go to sleep"

The room laughs before we all settle and start to fall asleep

The sound of Joey's breathing and his heartbeat working like white noise as I close my eyes and fall asleep peacefully
