I leaned slightly forward on the barstool, making Tally pull her cards closer to her chest. I pouted.
"No fair! I'm shit at this game." I whined glancing down at my cards.Tally placed her cards down and looked at me with a blank expression.
"We're playing go fish."
"Hey, this is some complicated shit. Why can't we play monopoly because I'm aces at that game or poker!" I replied excitedly."Hey ladies." We turned around and smiled,
"Hi Jimmy" Tally and I said cheerfully."How's my favourite girls doing?" Jimmy grinned. I rolled my eyes and stood up.
"I'm going to get ready okay Cotton?" Tally turned to me and frowned."You're not going anywhere you biatch! Come finish the game."
I started walking away, "sorry but I hate losing!" I called laughing.I made my way to the practise room and placed my one leg above the railing and stretched, feeling my muscles ache slightly. I started the music and closed my eyes, taking deep calming breaths before I completely lost myself to the music. My body moved sensually as I hummed along and smiled as the end of the song neared.
I showered quickly before changing into jeans and a t-shirt. The place was packed as usual by the time I returned from my brief shopping trip. I spotted Tally dancing onstage, she waved and I saluted before going backstage to my dressing room.
Tonight I wore a leather shorts and a deep purple strapless corset which showed off my belly ring, my makeup was done dramatically with deep purple lipstick and a smoky eye and I completed the ensemble with my black knee high boots and tied my hair in a messy ponytail.
There was a knock at the door and Ryan stepped in carrying a clipboard."Hey Ry" I sighed adding another coat of mascara.
"You're on in two" I turned around in my chair and glared at him. "That's it? No hello Rosy?" I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
" two minutes" he called as he walked out the door. Ass.I walked back to the main area and spotted the red door with VIP engraved on a gold plate. I placed my mask on before entering. While I was dancing I kept thinking of the man from the club. He screamed danger but I couldn't help but think about him. His body, oh god damn his body... The things I wanted him to do to me were endless. Suffice to say I was screwed, big time. Why the hell are you thinking about him! He was Russian for god sakes! I mentally scold myself.
I heard the men talking about their boss and It gave me an uneasy feeling.
" He'll be furious if he finds out you're trying to take over." The one man said with a frightful expression. " That's why he won't find out. Are you all in or not!" " I don't think it's a good idea but we'll consider your preposition." Another guy replied.
" идеальный, we will meet here next Wednesday to discuss the plans" I watched terrified as the bulky men got up and left the room, not before giving me a tip. This can't happen!I laid in bed that night, stroking Sacha's fur and thinking about the events of earlier. Ryan had refused to sub someone else for that specific day, even when I put up one hell of a fight. I had declined Tally's invitation to go clubbing again even though I wanted nothing more than to drink my problems away and maybe, just maybe see that man from the other night but I needed to gather my thoughts and come up with some sort of a strategy to get Ryan to reassign me to either the floor or another room.
I sighed looking at my beautiful Sacha, my gorgeous husky, the only family that I couldn't leave behind.
"Everything will be okay. We'll stay the same as always and I'm going to make sure of that Sacha" I vowed, she lifted her head up and I kissed her nose before turning the lights off.
" I promise" I whispered into the night but deep down I knew that things would change.
