Shoto looked at Natsuo with wide eyes. "What's wrong? Is he alright? Where is dad? Are Fuyumi and mom okay?"

He noticed that the TV was on with the news anchour still reporting on the attack that occurred four days ago.

Natsuo bit his lip and put his hand against Shoto's forehead. "You seem to be burning up. Dad is in the room next to us and mom and Fuyumi went to the cafeteria to get something to eat. They should be back soon. Don't worry and lay down."

"Don't try to change the topic Natsuo. Where is Touya?"

"I told you not to worry. I'm sorry I didn't want to bring him up alright?" He sighed. "Listen to your brother for once and lay down. You're lucky that you're even alive. Are you even aware in what condition you were when you arrived in the hospital? You made us all worry."

Shoto shook his head. "I don't care about what condition I am. Where is he?"

"I told you to be quiet and lay down." Natsuo said angrily. "Shut up. Now is not the time to talk about it."

Shoto grabbed Natsuo's arm agressively and pulled him towards him. "Talk to me now. What happened to him?"

Natsuo tried to get up and walk away but Shoto gripped his arm even tighter.

Natsuo looked at Shoto with an empty eyes when suddenly the news anchour announced with the letters "breaking news" all over the screen:

"We have just gotten the notice that one of the members of the league of villains called Dabi was pronounced dead on scene. He was one of the nine lieutenants of..."

"What?" Shoto let Natsuo's arm go in shock.

Natsuo turned towards the window with a bitter look of his face.

"He passed away before the ambulance even arrived. They couldn't even retrieve his whole body. All that's left of him is his right arm. Everything else is gone."

Shoto suddenly got up and tried to run off to the lobby but failed as he was still attached to the cables that had kept him alive these past days. He pulled them off aggressively and ran crying outside of his room.

"TOUYA WHERE ARE YOU? PLEASE COME OUT! YOU CAN'T BE DEAD!"

He kept screaming until he felt gentle hands on this shoulder. The sobbing boy turned around to see this mother and sister behind him as they were crying themselves.

They pulled him into a hug to try to calm him down but it was useless. The pain he was feeling due the open wounds from ripping off the cables wouldn't even compare to the one in his heart. He was getting dizzy from the blood loss and sudden outburst that he hadn't even noticed that several doctors and nurses had rushed towards him.

He fell to the floor unconscious with tears still running down his face and repeatedly calling his brothers name.

He continued to shed tears until there weren't anymore left.

Emptiness overcame the boy as attempted to tame his hatred against the whole world.

Every little thing reminded him of his brother and what he had gone through without him noticing. Without anyone noticing.

His home, his left side, his fire and the room that has been abandoned for years now will continue to carry that loneliness.

There was not one day that he didn't visit Touya's grave.

He talked to him for hours about their childhood and on the days when he couldn't talk anymore he just cried in front of his grave begging for him to come back.

Nightmares haunted the boy as he was reminded of his death over and over again until he woke up from his dream shaking and sweating.

He slowly but surely started to accept the fact that Touya was gone. He searched for comfort in his close friends and family as they stayed by his side and continued to support and care for him.

Momo in particular was always around him ready to calm him down from his panic attacks. He always felt safe as she held him in her arms, stroking his back and whispering calming words to him as he blamed himself for the death of his brother.

A few years later they got married and had three children who inherited both traits from their father and their mother.

He treated all of them equally with love as they grew up to become outstanding heroes with one child standing out in particular.

His eldest son always reminded him of Touya in both appearance and personality. He inherited the left side of Shoto and was the most passionate out of his children.

"I will become the greatest hero to make you, mommy and uncle Touya proud!"
The redhead shouted beaming as he trained his fire quirk.

Shoto smiled and ran his fingers through his son's fiery red hair.

"I'm sure that you will become the greatest hero of all the time, champ. But don't strain yourself. You know I'm always going to be proud no matter what you want to be."

He always wished that Touya could have met him. He would have loved his nephews and niece.

As he was playing in the backyard with the children he felt a light pressure on his leg. He looked down and noticed that his youngest one was chinging onto his pants, lightly biting her lips.

"Daddy there is someone who wants to meet you. He is waiting in the guest lounge. I let him inside. He said that he knows you."

Shoto looked distressed at his daughter and gathered the children to go to their mother. He looked at Momo concerned.

"Please look after the children until I know who that man is. If I don't respond in the next five minutes call the agency for backup. Don't try to fight if it's a villain. Keep the children save and run if you have to. Alright?."

Momo nodded hesitantly and walked with all of the children in one of the many bedrooms.

Shoto headed off towards the guest lounge carefully. As he entered the room he looked at the tall figure of a man who had his back turned to Shoto.

"I have to say your lousy taste in furniture hasn't changed one bit. A bit of black here and the wouldn't hurt you know?"

"How...?" Shoto asked wide-eyed. "Are you really him?"

The talk man turned around slowly, showing a bright smile. Shoto then noticed that the right arm of that man was missing. He walked over to him holding tears back.

"I thought you died. Where have you been all this time?"

Touya looked at him smiling while looking at the family photos. "A nice family you've got there. That one in particular looks like he causes you a lot of trouble." He said as he pointed to the oldest son.

"He is a lot like you. He always talks fondly of you as well. You're his role model. Well... at least in one way." Shoto laughed lightly.

"I'm glad to see you again. How have you been brother?"
