"I want to die..." Shoto thought as Toga kept teasing him with her knifes, slicing his skin open piece by piece.

Dabi left around two hours ago and Toga hadn't left his side ever since, playing with him until he couldn't even feel her knife digging into him anymore.

"This is kinda getting boring. You don't scream, cry or beg for help. I'll get rid of you now, because I only want my pretty little Izuku!"

Toga grabbed the knife once again and aimed for Shoto's heart when suddenly a huge explosion emitted and the ceiling of the room came crashing down.

Before Toga could scream two buff arms held her down and muffled her quickly.

„Todoroki are you okay?" A raspy and deep voice said worried.

„Thank god... It's you Kirishima. I'm injured but I can still move even if it hurts."

The smoke slowly separated and he was able to see Kirishima on top of Toga, who was trying to get away from the redheads tight grip desperately.

„Alright. You have to get out of here. The heroes are all heading over here and it's gonna be a mess soon.
You don't wanna get caught up in that. Head towards the exit. The support is gonna be here in around five minutes. Don't try to fight or evacuate anyone. Just get out of here quickly I'll try to hold 'em back!"

Shoto nodded and limped carefully towards the exit gritting his teeth due to the pain.

As he walked out of the headquarter he noticed several villains heading towards the building, most likely because of the loud explosion that Kirishima caused.

He quickly hid behind a piece of a wall that had collapsed and waited, until the villains had passed him without noticing him.

"I'm sorry Kirishima.." Shoto thought, as he got back up to head towards the support group.

Then he noticed that in the short period of Kirishimas arrival, half of the buildings were  already burning down to the ground, while others were only slightly damaged or even left unharmed.

He was baffled. Within five minutes the once quiet and calm hideout that belonged to the villains, was now burning to the ground in red and blue flames.

The heroes were desperately trying to get as many people as possible into safety as well as keeping the now freely roaming villains under control at the same time.

Shoto saw this chaos as his last opportunity to get safely out of the hideout, without having to encounter one of the already aggressive villains.

His body was insanely bruised and partially burned from the overwhelming heat radiating from the buildings.

He heard rage filled screams and desperate calls for help far behind him, but he couldn't do anything but keep moving forward to possibly find a hero and proper help for the others.

"Midoriya and Bakugo should be here any minute now if Kirishima is here already then those two should around here.

But his biggest worry was, that Dabi hasn't been captured yet which made Shoto worry.

He walked inside a darker alley that was closer to the exit than the main route and way less crowded when suddenly he was pressed against the wall by two rough hands, one twisting his arms behind his back and the other choking him violently.

He struggled against his attacker, when the attacker spoke up with a deep voice.

"If you try to break free or even just make a little noise I'll break your fucking neck."

It was Dabi. Despite his rough behaviour and threatening words there was something comforting about his presence that he hasn't felt ever since his brother left.

He nodded slowly and relaxed his body.

"Now listen carefully. You're my hostage. When I get out of here and find the person I need to eradicate, I'll release you. When I do that you're gonna walk away quietly and if you interfere in any way I'll kill you instead. Do you understand?"

Shoto nodded again and winced quietly due to the pain.

Dabi then released his arms and backed off pointing towards the end of the alley.

"Walk towards the flames at the exit and don't stop in any way even if you feel like passing out."

After ten minutes Shoto felt like his lungs were being torn apart and his muscles were barely moving at this point, but the presence of the villain terrified him enough that he didn't mind the pain all too much.

Suddenly he heard a familiar voice calling for him.

"SHOTO WHERE ARE YOU?"

"Father is here.." Shoto whispered relieved as he tried to find a way to escape and head towards his father.

Dabi noticed the change of behaviour of the terrified young hero and knew immediately who called for the man to make him react like that.

While the villain was lost in his thoughts Shoto ran towards his father, despite his pain.

"FATHER, I'M HERE!" Shoto screamed at the top of his lungs.

Endeavor finally spotted his son and sprinted towards him, covering him with his body to protect him.

"I'm sorry I wasn't here earlier. Are you okay, Shoto?" Endeavor asked worried.

"I mean if you overlook the burns, bruises and cuts I'd say I'm doing pretty good. Though it's hard to notice the burns at this point." He added sarcastically.

"Right... uhhh let's get you out of here."

Shoto held onto his fathers arm for support as they headed towards the exit when suddenly another person appeared right behind them.

"Hello father. Long time no see."
