Chapter 4

"Whats wrong with your stepmother?" Princess Choma asked Odakai as they are sitting in the living room couch. Unaware of Niegra standing right behind the door.

"She acted like she didn't know we were friends." Choma continued.

"Its a long story." Odakai replied. She was tired of all the stress her stepmother has put her threw that she just wanted to learn more about her long gone friend.

"But that doesnt matter the most important thing is that your finally hear. " Odakai tried to think happy thoughts.

"Odakai how you you been." Both of the girls are happy and laughing. But the maid, who is sitting in the couch right next to them, just rolled her eyes. Having the thought of the Princess talking to a poor worthless woman.

"So how long has it been since we last saw each other?" Odakai and Choma are thinking and counting in their heads.

"Thre-three years!" They say excitedly.
"Aww!"

"Well umm...things have not been easy for me." Odakai said sadly. "I've had to sit at home all these years doing nothing.

"And." Odakai continued. "My stepmother refused for me to going to school ever since my father died.

"What!?!" Princess Choma was shocked and now leaning towards Odakai. "Why would she do that?. "

Niegra and Irai are still standing outside the door listening to what they are talking about.

"Does she know that you were the most brilliant person in our class?!?" Princess Choma questioned. She was very shocked what has become of her best friends step mom.

"You know what...Let's just talk about something else." Odakai said. "So how's America?"

"America was fine even though the studies weren't very easy but, I tried my best!" Choma happily said. And with that they both burst out laughing.

"Odakai." Choma said now serious faced. "Would you still like to go to school?" She asked Odakai. "I could talk to my father to do something about it."

Odakai is shocked and excited. "Your not serious?!" Odakai asked.

"I'm serious." Choma politely answered.

"Choma! I-i want to go back to school. And wh-what am I doing in this village?!, what am I doing in this house?!" Odakai Was excited. " A-and that would be the best thing that you could for me!" She continued.

"Okay then meanwhile -" Choma couldn't remember what she was going to say. She tapping her head furiously now. "What's his name...Harris Mousel!" She finally remembered.

Odakai was upset by even the sound of his name.

"I-i can't believe I've fal- " Odakai stuttered. "I haven't heard a word from him since he traveled."

Choma is completely shocked. "That's...almost seven years now!" Choma can't believe it.

Choma just smacked her teeth and changed the subject. "Anyway I've bought some niice things for you!" Choma announced.

"Really?!" Odakai excited again.

Choma motioned for her walking around maid to bring the suitcase of wonderful clothes.

Choma's walking around maid set the suitcase on the table and careful opened it and with that everyone in the room was amazed with the contents! For there was lots and lots of clothing, shoes, and even cute purses.

Odakai then went to examine the contents and was amazed!

"Who you bought all this for?!" Odakai is now gently removing things from the suitcase.

The maid is annoyed cause she doesn't like Odakai cause she's poor.

"Choma your so kind. Thank you very much. God bless you." Odakai politely stated.

"Aww it's allright Odakai... your my friend! Your the only friend I have in this village and I could never forget all those good times we shared together! But just promise me you'll visit my palace... please?" Choma asked.

Odakai turned so that she is not facing Choma. "Well uhh -" Choma is curious as to why Odakai is doubting. "What's wrong?" Choma asked.

"Choma my stepmother has made life miserable for me... but nevermind I'll come!" Odakai gave in.

"Huehue Yeah come...and I'm soo sorry but I have to go now. I have to go back to the palace and see my father." Choma said.

"Haha you've done soo well coming to see me in the first place. And thank you for all these things you've bought me!" Odakai Thanked Choma. " Haha thank you soo much thank you I'm soo grateful!" Both of them are now standing up ready for Choma to leave.

Odakai closed the suitcase and packed it up.

As Odakai is walking Choma to her car they are giggling and having little talks as they walk.

As soon as Odakai and Choma exited the house Irai and Niegra run so they won't suspect that they were eavesdropping.

Choma and Odakai give each other one last Goodbye before Choma leaves to her palace. But Niegra and Irai are highly jealous and angry.

The four walked inside the house. Bit Odakai completely forgot that she left her suitcase of brand new material on the family rooms table.
