*Ashton's POV*
"Kate!"
I have been yelling for Kate for the past 10 minutes. She hasn't been answering and the waves are crashing harder and harder as the wind picks up. I was really getting worried, she is my best friend.
"Kate!"
I yelled once more.
"Ashton!"
I heard softly through the connection of water.
"Kate!"
I yelled with hope in my mind once again.
"Ashton!"
I moved toward the sounds.
"Ashton help!"
She said one more time. I jumped over a smaller wave that hit to see where she was. Struggling, she held the board and then got pulled under again.
"I'm coming Kate!"
I shouted.
"I'm coming."
I whispered to myself.

It took three more gigantic waves but I finally reached her. She clutched to my body and I grabbed the board and lifted her onto in. She was unsteady at first but regained her balance. The waves started to become ride-able again so Kate caught a few on the way to shore. I swam back with relief swept over me. She was safe.

*Luke's POV*
She is gone. What if we don't find her. What if she is dead. What if she got kidnapped. What if a shark took her?!
"Luke!"
I heard Jack shout. I looked up and saw Kate surfing her way back. OH THANK GOD FOR ASHTON!
Kate was close enough. So I ran. I ran as fast as I could to her. She got off of the board and I rapped my arms around her as tight as possible. I picked her up of of the ground and kisses her nose. And then set her back down.
"Luke."
She breathed as tears threatened to fall.
"Kate."
I whispered into the crook of her neck.
"I was so worried about you! I was scared you were gone and I would never forgive myself. Ever."
I looked away with sadness in my voice.
"Luke, hey look at me. I'm right here and I'm okay. Just, next time, when I say no beach, listen!"
She laughed and pushed my shoulder lightly.
"Okay."
I smiled.
"Good. Now, I'm freezing let's go home."
She laughed. I took this opportunity to be funny and cliché so I picked her up bridal style. She just giggled a little and shot me that gorgeous smile of hers and rested her head on my chest. And I walked us to the car with Ashton trailing behind us.

I sat Kate down in the back and closed the door.
"Hey ash?"
I said and he looked up.
"Hm?"
He tilted his head and eyes opened wide.
"Thank you. F-For saving her."
I sighed.
"She's my best friend. And your my mate, i'd do anything for you two."
He smiled.
I smiled back and we both got into the car.

"That was an amazing show!"
Ashton gloated.
"Yeah! And a huge crowd!"
Calum chuckled.
"I'm hungry!"
Mikey whined.
"Your always hungry!"
Luke laughed.
"So? You are either eating or shagging her!"
He pointed to me. We both just blushed.
"At least he is shagging someone Mikey, I bet your pillow and hand are worn out."
I shot back. He shut up.
