She appeared at our door way. Her curled blonde hair swaying as it hit just above her waist, deep hazel eyes like Ashton's, searching. She wore shorts that barely covered her bum and a black long sleeve shirt. She was stunning. I glanced at her for a moment and just as I was about to look away, her eyes turned to meet mine. She was just absolutely breathtaking! I froze momentarily but regained my cool.
"Hi, I'm Luke."
Wow, that was smooth.
"Kate."
She smiled to me, but with a closed smile.
"What a beautiful name."
I smirked, trying to rekindle myself.
"Thank you."
She said as I walked closer to her small figure.
"Have we met before?"
Something about this girl seems so familiar....
"I don't think so?"
"Hmmm....weird. Okay well it was nice meeting you."
I tugged on my lip ring and turned back to my boxes.
"You too."
She smiled and giggled a bit.
"So Ash, dinner tonight?"
"Yeah of course, I'll come by at like 8?"
He replied.
Were they a couple?
I felt a sudden jolt in my chest.
Dang. She's taken.
"Sounds good."
She smiled.
"See you boys later."
She announced while walking out of our room.
"So are you two together?"
I asked very suddenly.
"What? No?"
He chuckled.
"We've been best friends for years. Nothing else. Plus I kind of have the hots' for her roommate."
"Oh.."
I trailed off.
"Why do you ask?"
He turned to me.
"Just curious."
I brushed.
"Mmhmm, well just a heads up mate. Kate is like my baby sister, so if you ever hurt her, you will be in a whole new world of hurt."
He sounded so serious. Wow. Is he sure there isn't any other feelings there...I just met this chick and he already thinks her and I are sleeping together or something.
"Okay."
I said and turned back to my piles, unpacking. Ready to start this new year.
~Kate's POV~
"Okay you forgot to mention the lip ring! The lip ring was important. You should've lead with the lip ring!"
I walked in laughing, still stunned by the new guy's hotness. There are like zero hot guys here, so when one comes along its like discovering a unicorn.
"Oh really? I hadn't even noticed."
She brushed it off.
"Oh really? Why? Because you were starring at Ashton and not the new guy?"
I tease her all time. It's so obvious she has a school girl crush on Ashton. I think it's kind of cute.
"What! No, I was-"
"Lyss, it's okay jeez, calm down. I was joking."
I laughed falling onto my bed.
This is going to be one hell of a year, I can feel it.
