"She's awake and stable." The nurse said to Switzerland and I. Switzerland shot up from his chair and hurried down the hall to the room Liechtenstein was in. I trailed behind him, wanting to know how Liechtenstein was doing.

"Big bruder?" She asked as Switzerland walked into the room. I smiled hearing her little voice. It sounded normal, like when I had talked to her just yesterday.

"Liechtenstein are you alright?" Her brother asked and she answered with a small yes. "Please tell me why were you out in the forest when I've told you more then one not to go in there."

"I was looking for you big bruder. You were taking so long to come back from the store. So I decided I was going to go look for you. I didn't think about taking the woods until it was too late. Please forgive me bruder." Liechtenstein pleaded.

Her brother sighed. "Just don't do it again." He told her and she nodded. I smiled and that's when Liechtenstein noticed me for the first time today. She looked as if she wanted to say something but no words would come from her mouth.

"T- They warned me about you." Liechtenstein finally managed. "They said they were really after you, and I was just a warning."

"Who told you that?" Switzerland asked for me.

"I- I don't know. I don't know who it was. I sorry."

Switzerland grimaced and for some strange reason I found myself smiling. I needed to reassure Liechtenstein, make it so she didn't feel guilty. This wasn't her fault, she had just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. If anything it was my fault.

"Liechtenstein don't worry about it. He was after me even before today. I bet he's going to leave you out of this, the only reason you're in this to begin with is because you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Listen to your brother and I promise it won't happen again." I said and some how I managed to get her to smile.

I then walked out of the room and left the hospital. Just as I walked out the door Germany was there waiting to take me home. He asked if she was fine and I told him she was fine, which she is. But I didn't tell him what she told me. I didn't want him to worry anymore then he already had too.

"Ryter!" A loud voice greeted me as I stumbled out of Germany's car. "Dude, is she okay?" America asked Germany. America came forward and caught me before I could fall to the ground.

"She must be exhausted." Germany said. I took a deep breath and stood up strait. America let me go and I felt a shiver run down my spine. He was watching me, always.

Unknown P.O.V.

I could tell she finally realized I was watching her. But seeing me and knowing I was there are two different things. She still doesn't know who I am. And I plan on keeping it that way.

I have to keep an eye on this girl. The prophecy says that I shall fall to her will. I can't, and won't, let that happen. I won't let her take me over. Even though it seems as if she hasn't come into her special country powers, I know it's only a matter of time.

So this is why I must watch her. Or get someone to do it for me. I need to learn when right time to strike will be. Maybe I should do the thing in the woods again. She seems to be someone who is just as selfless as Italy seems to be.

Another reason I can't let her take me over. Because selfless people are nothing but weak. Look at Italy for instance. He's the weakest country of us all. Even Sealand is stronger then him. But then again this is Ryter were talking about, a country that hasn't come into her true strength.

Maybe that's a good thing. The longer it takes for her to come into her power the longer I have to think up a plan. One that will guarantee my safety as a country. And as soon as I do that life will go back to normal. Back to how our lives were three days ago, with the exception of Natrista that is.

America's P.O.V.

As soon as Ryter stood up strait I knew there was something wrong. She seemed to be looking around for something that wasn't there. Or was it? I would know since I didn't even know what she was looking for.

"Yo, Ryter are you okay dude?" I asked. She flinched as if I had just slapped her across the face. I looked down at her and I know she could see the worry in my eyes. Because I was worried about her, for some reason I was more worried about her then I was will be able to get me my next hamburger.

"Yea, I'm fine. Just a little distracted, that's all." She yawned. "I need some sleep. I'll see you in the morning."

She went to walk away but I grabbed her wrist. "I know something else is bothering you, but you don't have to tell me. But if you are going to tell anyone, tell Natrista. She's worried about you Ryter."

She seems taken aback. "H- How do you know that?"

"'Cause I talked to her earlier. She noticed that you seemed distant at the mall today so she asked me what was wrong. I had no choice but to tell her." I said to Ryter.

She looked up at me. "Thanks. And I'll tell you what bothering me. Just not know. I really am tired."

"Okay Ryter." I said but before I could understand what was happening I was pulling Ryter towards me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and was leaning down to her face. I came into reality and stopped myself when my face was just a couple of inches away.

"Be careful." I took a deep breath and inhaled the sent of her, mint and strawberries. "And remember if anything happens I'll be there for you. Always will be."

Ryter stared at me before nodding. I took a step back and let her go. Smiling I backed up to my car and drove away. Leaving Ryter in complete shock.
