Chapter 2

No one pov:
As Quackity woke up he looked around the area only to see River the god of time had let him sleep on his lap the whole time, all while that was happening Slime had left the two alone for River to tell Quackity new rules he must follow if he wish to keep his new powers that he was gifted

Turns out River had given Quackity the ability to slow someone's flow of time with time chains that River use quit often on other gods who can fight back agents it a bit, but all mortal will be fully paralyzed as they are far weaker to fight against the chains

However if Quackity wants to keep his new found power he would need to follow three simple rules in River's opinion
Rule 1: Never bother River when working on the timeline unless it is life threatening or a god had try to harm him

Rule 2: Is allowed to have another lover but know that he will live longer then them as River had slowed down his aging

Rule 3: Always prey to River during at some point of the day

Those was the rules that River gave his new pet Quackity who if he breaks any of the rules but begs to keep his power he will be thrown into a void were he will float around in until River believe he had learned his lesson

Quackity pov:
After River told me the rules he had honestly made it clear he could give more but I'd have to earn it in some way or form "I won't let you down River" as I said that River just smile at me with his eyes closed

"I hope not I'd hate to lose you so soon" with that River brought me into a tight hug  as he placed a kiss on my forehead "Now let's go get something to eat you were asleep for quite some time"

With that we went to one of the restaurants in Las Nevada we had past a few people on our way there but I couldn't find Slime anywhere 'Were could he be at' before I could think more about it River had said something

"It has been sometime since I last took intres in a mortal-" River glanced at me with a sad smile on his face "please don't take it personally if I forget how fragile you are" it was honestly nice to see how River shows that he cares in his own way

"I believe you won't hurt me on purpose" reaching my hand out I pet there head as they were also the same hight as Karl at the moment "Thank you love" hearing him call me love made my face heat a bit up "y-you're welcome" with that we continued our way to get some food for me

??? Pov:
I watched as River talk with Quackity as they enter a restaurant together as the two smile at one another with only pure intentions for the others

"If he hurts him I'll beat his ass for hurting my love" griping on my ring around my neck I knew my time would have been long if XD didn't get in my way 'I hope that George fellow he hangs out with dies a painful death like me'

It hurts to see them move on but if they still morn my death for the rest of time would just hurt my heart more then it does to see him cry 'When his new pet die I should have found away to be with him again'

Because if that copycat XD can bring that Wilbur person back then he can do the same for me if I make it seem to benefits him as well "Soon my love we will with each other once again"

With that I continued my work to communicate with Dream who is still in the prison at the moment but I knew that won't be for much longer if my gift was right 'So far it's never been wrong unless a god interferes again'
