Robyn looked outside her window and saw the same girl that she had been seeing for weeks now. She knew the exact time she'd come strolling down the sidewalk. She would always see her exactly ten minutes after she got home.

She didn't understand why she walked instead of riding the school bus with all the other kids. It was way quicker. Plus it's too hot and it's too long of a walk.

Robyn let curiosity get the best out of her. She threw on a baseball cap to block her face from the sun and jogged out the house. She ran until she was right next to the girl. The girl noticed her but didn't say anything. Robyn started to walk backwards so she could look at the girl. She was too pretty not to look at.

"How come you always walk alone?" She asked.

The girl looked up at her with the most intimating poker face she ever seen. "I'm alone cause I wanna be"

She took her eyes off of Robyn and kept walking towards her house.

"You should let me walk you home. So I can protect you"

"Protect me how?" She questioned raising her eyebrow.

"I'm training to be a police officer. I take self defense classes and everything" Robyn smiled proudly.

"And that's something your proud of?" The blonde haired girl scoffed unimpressed by the scrawny girl.

"Why wouldn't it be? I'm following in my dads footsteps"

"Well I don't need any protection" she told her as she tighten her hands around the straps of her backpack.

"You're way too pretty to be walking home alone"

Great. The blonde haired girl thought. Another little boy trying to flirt with her. She was so tired of these nappy headed boys coming up to her. When will they get a hint.

"What's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Robyn"

"I hate to break it to you Robyn but I only like girls"

Robyn stopped in her tracks, so did Beyoncé. She watched as Robyn lifted the baseball cap from off of her head, revealing her short hair. She ran her fingers through them and looked back up at the girl.

She didn't pay Robyn much attention when she thought that she was just a annoying little boy trying to get her attention but once she saw her facial features she was speechless. She got lost in her emerald eyes before her lips curled into a small smile.

"Is that a smile I see?" Robyn squinted jokingly before flashing one back at her.

"I did not see that one coming" she laughed admittedly as she kept walking.

"She laughs too?!" Robyn exclaimed.

"Very funny..." she playfully rolled her eyes walking up a driveway to what seemed to be her house. It wasn't that far away from Robyn's.

Her and Robyn stood face to face. "So you think I'm pretty?" The girl asked.

"Upsettingly gorgeous"

Her cheeks flushed into a very visible red. She licked her lips and bounced her eyes from Robyn's eyes to her lips.

She leaned forward and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you for walking me home Robyn"

The blonde girl turned to leave but Robyn took hold of her hand. She quickly looked back and raised her eyebrow.

"What's your name?" She asked. The girl shook her head dumbfounded that she had forgot to tell her such a major piece of information.

"Beyoncé"
