More than Jupiter

Chapter 10

(Ranboo POV)

He woke up to a cold breeze all around him. He tried to pull his blanket over him, only to realize there wasn't one there. Instead, a small fluffy haired boy in his arms.

He opened his eyes and noticed he was in the middle of a field, cuddling Tubbo on a blanket. He jumped slightly in surprise, causing Tubbo to wake up.

"Uhm, Tubbo..." he said, trying to get the smaller to wake up. Instead, the fluffy haired male snuggled closer, Ranboos chest.

"Mmmngg" Tubbo groaned

He couldn't lie, even grumpy Tubbo was adorable.

"Tubbooo" he said, holding out the 'Oh'

No response

"Tubbo"

"Whaaat"

"We're kinda in the middle of a park"

"The fuck- what?"

Tubbo lifted his head in confusion. Ranboo watched the face of realization on Tubbo as he got up and looked around.

Ranboo picked up his phone to check the time and was surprised on how late they slept in.

"Holy cow, it's almost noon"

"Holy shit!"

Tubbo stood up and started shoving everything they brought into his backpack.

"Fuck, my parents are going to kill me! I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought us here. Lani's gonna make fun of us, none of this would even happened if I just-"

Ranboo could tell he was getting worked up so he did the first thing that came to mind and put his hand on Tubbos.

"Hey, it's going to be okay. I promise"

They both smiled and Tubbo calmed down a bit.

After Tubbo finished packing up, they headed home.

When they walked inside, Lani came up and hugged Tubbo immediately.

"Do you have any idea how scared I was?"

"I'm sorry, I was-"

"You we're out with your boyfriend, I get it"

Ranboo looked down in embarrassment.

"Yea, I was and i'm sorry."

What? He just said the two were boyfriends. Well, he didn't say it explicitly, but he agreed to it. Both Lani and Ranboo gave Tubbo a surprised look at Tubbo but didn't say anything.

"Anyway, we're going to my room. Bye"

Before Ranboo could respond, Tubbo had already grabbed his hand and dragged him to his room. Tubbo sat in his bed and Ranboo sat beside him.

"I still can't believe we slept at the park and didn't even realize"

"Yea...Uhm, Tubbo"

"What's up big man"

"So earlier, you called me your boyfriend?"

Ranboo saw red practically crawl onto Tubbos face.

"What do you mean?"

"Like, Lani said you were out with your 'boyfriend', referring to me, and your agreed"

"Oh"

Tubbo just starred at the bed thinking of  a response while Ranboos mind raced. His heart was beating fast out of..nerves?  He couldn't really tell why he was so nervous, but he was.

"Would it be okay if I could call you that?"

Woah woah woah. He asked him to be his boyfriend. He asked him to be his boyfriend? Oh dear god. Ranboos face was red and his heart was beating so fast he could feel it in his whole body.

He simply smiled and nodded.

"Yea, that would be alright"

Ranboo starred into Tubbos eyes. Those amazing beautiful eyes. He watched as the smaller mans gaze drifted to just above his chin. This has happened a few times, where both of them are staring at each others lips for a while, but nothing has ever actually happened. But Ranboo wanted that to change, he wanted something to happen. So he made it happen.

He suddenly got a big burst of confidence and decided to go for it. He grabbed the back of Tubbos head and closed the space between their faces.

Tubbos lips felt amazing on his. He'd been wanting this for as long as he had known him.

They broke apart for air, only to reconnect after seconds. He wanted to stay where he was, with Tubbo, forever.

Ranboo got out of the shower, got dressed, and looked for Tubbo. He looked in his room, the kitchen and the living room but only found Lani instead.

"Hey Lani, have you seen Tubbo?"

"Oh, yea I think he went outside"

"Great, thanks"

He ran to go outside and sure enough, there he was, sitting down starring at the stars.

He sat down next to him and joined the other in looking at the sky.

"You can see Jupiter from here" Tubbo said quietly. Ranboo scoffed.

"No you cannot, it's just a bright star"

"Jupiters my favorite, and I want it to be Jupiter, so it's Jupiter"

"That doesn't make any sense"

"I don't care what you say. It's Jupiter"

Ranboo laughed slightly and decided to just give up. There was no arguing with him.

"Yep"

They continued to watch the sky in a comfortable silence. Tubbo grabbed for Ranboos hand and rested his head on his shoulder. Ranboo was the first to break the silence.

"I really love you, ya know"

"I love you more"

"More than what?"

"More than, uh, more than the sky"

"Didn't know you care so much about the sky" Ranboo said in a joking tone.

Tubbo turned Ranboos head and pulled him into a kiss. The smaller pulled away and rested his head back in Ranboos shoulder.

"I love you more than Jupiter"

This is probably going to be the last chapter. I kind of got bored of this story and writers block was kicking my ass. I have an idea for another story which i'm more excited for so you can go read that (when i actually write it) if you want!
