About two months had passed since Delia revealed the truth to Cynthia, but she couldn't bring herself to share it with Ash just yet. Meanwhile, Serena embarked on her new adventure in Sinnoh, purposefully avoiding meeting Ash to fulfill a promise she had made.

In the frozen parts of faraway Unova, chaos erupted as the legendary Pokémon Kyurem was overpowered by an unknown Trainer. The release of Reshiram and Zekrom during the confrontation triggered their rage, causing them to rampage and clash against each other, endangering the region. Champion Iris had no choice but to seek help from other regions to contain the escalating situation.

At the Kanto Division, Cynthia received the urgent call and immediately sprang into action, ordering the preparation of the squad and the aircraft for immediate departure.

"Well, Cynthia, you really don't have to go. It's not like it's a very big problem, you know," Steven suggested, but Cynthia knew the severity of the situation.

"If Reshiram and Zekrom continue fighting, the climate around the world wouldn't be as good as it is right now," she explained the gravity of the situation.

Cynthia decided to take Lance with her, and he also offered to bring Ash along. "He knows more about Zekrom and Reshiram than we do, and we're gonna need that," Lance stated.

Change of Scene

Gary introduced a new device they had developed, a more advanced radar to detect cloaking technology. Ash was intrigued but struggled to fully comprehend the technical details.

As they discussed the situation, Lillie suddenly burst into the lab with alarming news. "Unova's Champion Iris has sent a distress call! Zekrom and Reshiram have appeared again, and they're causing havoc!" she explained urgently.

"Fifty-three people missing, twenty-one confirmed dead. It's a disaster," Lillie's words left Ash and Gary speechless.

"Why are they fighting again? I thought I resolved their conflict years ago," Ash wondered aloud.

"We'll figure that out. Ash, Lance wants you to go with him," Lillie informed him.

Ash, always ready for adventure, was about to leave when Lillie tossed him Charizard's Pokéball. "Here's your beast," she said with a grin.

"Great, see ya!" Ash cheerfully exclaimed as he jumped off the building, using an old trick of his to get a head start on the journey.

As the team boarded the airship, Cynthia explained the plan to stop the rampaging Pokémon. Ash listened intently, but he couldn't help but feel uneasy about it. "It's stupid," he couldn't resist sharing his opinion.

Cynthia and Lance left with their teams to confront both Zekrom and Reshiram. Cynthia and team went to Zekrom, while Lance and team departed on their Pokémon towards Reshiram, leaving only eight support crew members with Ash in the aircraft. As they flew over the affected area, Ash sat at the edge of the open hatch, deep in thought.

The town's peace was shattered by the high-pitched roar of Reshiram, crashing into houses and causing destruction. "Time to go," Ash muttered to himself, taking action without hesitation.

A crew member was horrified to realize that Ash was no longer where he had been before. "Riley, he's gone," the crew member exclaimed in shock.

Reshiram unleashed a powerful flamethrower, endangering the civilians, but Ash's Charizard boldly intercepted the attack to protect them. From the top of a tower, Ash observed Lance and his team as they struggled to deal with the situation.

"Fvking hate it when I have to save people," he muttered with a mixture of frustration and determination.
