Meeting you,
was the reward of my life.-Goblin

"I don't have patience ? Wow! I waited five whole years for you. And you're calling me impatient ?" he shouted, struggling to tie the apron knot in his back.
"You waited for me ? You didn't even know for whom you were waiting for. Don't inculpate me. Jerk" she said while walking towards him.
"Don't!" He whacked on her hand when she was about to help him tie the apron knot. "I can do it by myself" he said whilst she frowned rubbing the back of her palm.
He held her hand when she tried to walk away. "Where are you going ?"
"Wherever. Why do you care ?" She removed his hand from hers.
"Why do I care ? Really ? Why you're picking up on me today ? I was all the while in front of the oven. I just stepped out of the kitchen for a moment"
"And that one moment resulted in burning the cake. If for a moment, you stayed. Cake wouldn't have burned. If for a moment, you stayed calm. I wouldn't have ran away. You were my one idiotic idol, now an impatient chef! You're an epitome of jerk-ness!"
"Wh—-why you're bringing the past ?"
"Ugh! Go away! I'm going to watch movie"
"Haan. All you do is, watch Netflix and avoid me" he complaint storming off to kitchen. She chuckled shaking her head.
She turned on the television and went through the list of movies in Netflix. She sighed when his series came to her view.
"Facade. He's not even the 'r' of romantic, like in his series" she twisted her lips and skipped it.
Two months of dating, six months to their marriage. She love him for his soul, for his wish to protect, his soft hands that reflect his true self. They're the one to each other who make it safe for their soul to breathe anew.
Annika paused the movie and went upstairs. She took the mini camera out.
"Am I allowed to take my husband's picture ?" she asked bringing the camera in front of her face. He smiled and pulled her closer.
His right stroking her lower back, left hand running over the length of her right arm. She held onto his shoulder. He leaned down, pressing his moist lips above hers. There is always something so heavenly about their kisses, a tender moment that just won't wait. He moved back after a little smooch and pressed their foreheads together.
"Shall we go to the bedr—-" She pressed her palm above his mouth.
"Shameless. Bake the cake. We think about that at night" she gently pushed him away. He nodded and indulged in batter again.
"You still didn't answered me"
"Baby, of course you can"
"Hmm. What if you sho—-" she gestured to zip her mouth when he narrowed his eyes at her.
She brought the camera in front of her face, taking some steps back. She shrunk her left eye and clicked his picture. She smiled seeing the Polaroid of her handsome husband.
She gasped when he pulled her to him, yet again. He set the timer to ten seconds and placed before them. Then, he turned her around, wrapped his hands around her waist, chin above her left shoulder.
"I'm not going to get my plum cake today"
"Quiet woman!"
She chuckled at him. They smiled looking at the camera and it captured. Everyone has the right to protect themselves and clear communication is a must in matters of the heart. So, when the time says that you've fallen in love, take a moment to ask yourself what you really need. Either you are a match, or take the hint and walk away. A moment of patience - simple as that it.
