Camilo x Reader 𝒪𝓃𝑒𝓈𝒽𝑜𝓉𝓈

Today was the day, Y/N and Camilo have been together for one full year now.
When Y/N stood up they ate something real quick, grabbed the present that they made for Camilo and ran to the Madrigals. They spent the whole week making the present for their boyfriend. It was a matching necklace and they sewed a new ruana for him.

It didn't take long for Y/N to arrive at casita because they lived really near. When they knocked at the door and Pepa opened it.
"Hi Pepa! Is Camilo there?", Y/N asked.
" I think he's still asleep. Maybe come over later? You know that he sleeps very long", with a faint smile Pepa closed the door again.
But Y/N knew that he's up at that time because he always is. The only possibie explanation is that he's not done with their present yet. Because of that Y/N went back home and talked to their family about what they had planned today.

„Camilo!", Dolores ran into his room waking her brother up. „ I hope you didn't forget your anniversary with Y/N"
Camilo sat up „What are you talking about?", he was very sleepy. Yesterday he had to watch over so many children while their parents went out, that he overslept.
„ You and Y/N got together one year ago"
„ Wait for real? Shit I totally forgot. What should I do? I have nothing for them. Uh wait, how do know?"
„ I didn't , I just heard them talking about it"

Camilo just nodded and stood up. He went downstairs to look for his family to help with his idea.
After a while he found most of them. Tía Julieta, Isabela, Luisa, Mirabel and Dolores were open to help him.
" Ok, Julieta I need you to make food. Isabela, you have to make the place where we'll be going pretty. Luisa, you have to carry stuff to the place. Mirabel, you have to help me get ready. And Dolores, you try to keep Y/N away from me and everyone else involved."
With that everyone started to get to work.

Julieta went to her kitchen and started to make Empanadas, Patacones, Arepas and Hormigas Culonas for the two. She really liked to cook so it wasn't really a circumstance to make the meals for them.

Luisa went around the house to look for stuff she can carry to the place Camilo told them. When she got to the dining room she grabbed two chairs, then she went into the kitchen and asked her mom if she could have the small table that stood in the room. Julieta said yes, so she picked it up as well. When she thought that that's enough she saw the piano and decided they needed music, but they should also be alone so she couldn't take the piano with her. After some thinking she took a turntable with some records and took everything to a river near the house and placed everything there.

Isabela was already there and put flowers everywhere. You could see some orchids in various colours, some red and pink roses, a few tulips and a lot of cape marguerites. It was very colourful and pretty, just like Camilo wanted it.

Mirabel and Camilo were in his room looking through his closet trying to find the best outfit.
" It shouldn't be too formal right? But also not too casual.", the young boy was really stressing out. " Mira I want it to be perfect for mi hermosa. I already fucked it up with forgetting it, now it has to be perfect without a doubt."
" It will be don't worry. I'm sure Y/N will love it whatever will happen. And if it isn't perfect you two have something to tell your children when you have some.", Mirabel said while her head was in his closet. After a short time she found a shirt that may be perfect for it.
She showed it to him and he immediately took it and ran to the bathroom to change. After he came back he smiled really hard.
" It's perfect Mira. I didn't even know I own that" They both left the room and went to the kitchen to see if the food is ready. It was, so they took it to the river where Luisa and Bela where waiting.

While everyone was doing their thing, Dolores looked for Y/N. When she found them she immediately tried to talk to her.
" Hey. Are you planing on doing anything today."
Y/N looked at her with a confused look.
" Uhm... It's Camilo's and my anniversary today. Why did you ask?"
Even tho Dolores and Y/N talked sometimes, they weren't really close.
"Oh yeah, Camilo told me. But he had to do so much yesterday. He's really exhausted and is probably still sleeping. But I'm sure he will wake up soon and then you can hang out"
"Uhm sure" Y/N didn't like the tension between them. Something was going on but they didn't know what. But they continued to talk.

"Everything is ready. I think", Camilo looked at the place. He really liked it.
"Thank you for helping. I'll get Y/N. I will tell you how everything turned out later." His cousins nodded and left. So did he, but he didn't go to casita but to the town. As he saw Dolores and Y/N he ran to them.
"I'm so so sorry. I totally overslept", he said and then placing a kiss on his partner's cheek.
"I have a present for you" Y/N said with a smile.
"Oh really? Is it my birthday?" , he joked knowing damn well that he would have forgotten if his sister wouldn't have reminded him.
"I have something for you too. Follow me"

He and Y/N both went to the river. As soon as they saw the scenery they were speechless. Camilo went to the turntable and put a record on it. The song  'In the still of the night' started playing.
"Now I feel bad. My present is nothing like yours.", they handed Camilo the necklace and ruana. He smiled and put on both of the things.
"I love it!"

He went up to them and hugged them tight "Happy one year anniversary! I love you"
They smiled. " Love you too", with that he placed a kiss on their lips. Y/N started blushing.
They both sat down and and ate the food Julieta made. They were really just enjoying their time together.

That was really rushed and I didn't know how to end it. I'm sorry that Y/N wasn't really present in that story. I still hope you still liked it.

I already have an idea for the next chapter. The river will be an important role👀
