Camilo x Reader 𝒪𝓃𝑒𝓈𝒽𝑜𝓉𝓈

The Madrigals are a nice family. They helped out everyone who needed it. Y/Ns parents weren't home often and they really needed someone to watch over their youngest child. Because Y/N couldn't watch over them all the time they asked Camilo for help.

One day Y/N came home earlier than usual so they had some free time to spent with the Madrigal, who they thought was cute. The first thing they did was go to the kitchen to get some food and  decided to offer Camilo some as well. But he declined.

"So... How long are you going to be here?", Y/N tried to start small talk.
"Until your parents are back", Y/N didn't really know when they're going to be back, so it didn't answer the question.

"Uhm, I'm Y/N by the way. I don't know if my parents or sibling told you that", Camilo didn't really react trying to focus on Y/Ns sibling. But they didn't give up and tried to talk to him over and over again.

"I'm sorry beautiful but I have to do my job. Turns out ignoring the problem doesn't get rid of it", he jokingly said. Y/N acted offended but kind of smiled because of the compliment.
"How dare you thinking that. Everyone knows that you have to deal with your problems if you want them to disappear." Y/N countered.
"Touché, then let me deal with them", he scoffed Y/N.

This went on for a while with the two picking on each other, until Y/Ns parents came home. Y/N and Camilo said bye to each other and then he left.

"When will he come over again? I mean it was pretty funny with him" Y/N asked their mother.
"I don't know yet, but tomorrow is Antonio's gift ceremony so you'll probably see him there again"
"Wait for real? That's awesome", Y/N smiled.

The next day Y/N couldn't concentrate on their work because of the excitement. They only saw three ceremonies before but couldn't really remember considering they were really young when they happened. Time still passed really fast and so they went home to get ready. With their whole family they made their way to the Madrigals and when they arrived they got greeted by Luisa, even though Camilo was also greeting people.

When they entered the house a lot of villagers were already inside. Their parents saw someone they knew and asked Y/N if they wanted to look around by themselves or come with them. Y/N decided to not go with them, so they were left alone.

After a while someone tapped on their shoulder. When they turned around they saw it was Camilo.
"Hey! How did you find me in the crowd? And you didn't even greet me and my family. Luisa had to do that for you. Not doing your job properly sounds like a problem. You have to deal with that, young man", trying to hold their laugh back.

"I'm so sorry for not dealing with my problems. I promise then I will always talk about them when I get the chance to do so", he said with a dramatic undertone in his voice.
"And how do you want to deal with this one?"
"Well, I could just do my job properly. Or maybe I can ask someone for help if its too much for me. I'm just one simple boy you know?", he pretended like it was therapy.
"Good job. Now you know what to do the next time", Y/N wanted to say more but Pepa called for Camilo, so he had to leave.

Y/N went to the rest of the crowd and stood at the side of the aisle waiting for the ceremony to begin. Shortly after Camilo and the rest of his family excluding his mother, father, brother and abuela showed up again and placed themselves right next to Y/N. When Y/N noticed that, they smiled and looked at Camilo. His gaze has just turned to Y/N. When the floor tiles in front of them turned red and the spotlight was placed on Antonio, Camilo suddenly grabbed Y/Ns hand. They didn't really mind because they knew it was probably just out of nervousness considering the last ceremony turned out horrible.

Antonio didn't move, which made Camilo grip tighter on Y/Ns hand. The youngest reached out his arm for Mirabel. She showed up taking his and and walking down the path with him. When they arrived upstairs she stood next to Pepa and Felíx. Alma talked to the boy and then he reached for the candle. With that he made his way to the door and touched the doorknob. Suddenly a toucan flew to him and sat down on his arm. "I understand you"; the young one exclaimed. "We have a new gift" with that everyone started cheering and Camilo hugged Y/N out of joy. When he realized what he had just done he stopped and apologized. "oh my god, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to do that"

"It's okay. You talked about your problem and I forgive you", with that Y/N started laughing. So did Camilo. All of the people went into Antonio's room and Y/N just followed them. It was huge and looked like a jungle. After the Madrigals took a picture music started playing. Y/N started to dance even though they aren't really good at it. After some time passed Camilo showed up in front of them.

"I have a huge problem" Y/N just looked at him, thinking he had an actual problem.
"What is it?"
"My problem is that you're not dancing with me right now" Camilo smirked thinking he just made the best pickup line ever. Y/N smiled and reached out their hand for Camilo to take. With that they started to dance with the music. Y/N was really nervous that they will step on Camilos feet, but for their surprise they didn't.

Suddenly Mirabel stormed into the room "The house is in danger!", the music stopped playing and no one danced anymore "The tiles were falling, and there were cracks everywhere. And the candle almost went out."
"Show me", Alma looked really concerned. everyone went outside the room and looked for the cracks, which weren't there.

"There is nothing wrong with La Casa Madrigal. The magic is strong. And so are the drinks. ", with that everyone except Mirabel went back inside.

"Y/N it's late and Y/Sn has to go to bed. Say bye to your friend and then we'll go", Y/Ns father told them when he saw them. Y/N looked for Camilo to say goodbye.

"Wait, we can hang out in our free time right? Like in town right? If not I have a new problem"; Camilo half joked.
"yeah sure. I don't really know when I have free time again. I have to help my parents a lot"
"Oh don't. I'm sure I have to look after your sibling soon enough again"

I really enjoyed writing the chapter. There were no problems with it. Shoutout to my friend for coming up with the problem joke.
