11. Yin Iron-2

Soon after Lan Yi's spirit faded, the protection barrier on the Cloud Recess weakened. Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji stood up and looked around for her. "Predecessor, you haven't told us where the other shards of the Yin Iron are." Wei Wuxian shouted.

Meanwhile, outside the cave, everyone were still searching Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji. "Wei Ying," Jiang Cheng said worriedly, "where are you?" Ever since Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji disappeared, he searched for his fiancée day and night, even passing the curfew time. It's been a day and a night since they disappeared. "Lady Wen." He said shocked, as he saw Wen Qing in front of him. "Young Master Jiang." Wen Qing said. "Lady Wen, are you here to find Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji as well." Jiang Cheng asked. Wen Qing nodded slightly. Just as Jiang Cheng was about to say something, Jiang Cheng heard Wei Wuxian's voice.

"Lan Zhan!" Wei Wuxian shouted. While he and Lan Wangji made their way out of the cave, Wei Wuxian accidentally tripped and fell on top of Lan Wangji. He shouted Lan Wangji's name hoping that he could warn the other about it, but he ended up falling on top of Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji was shocked and looked at him, making his heart nearly burst.

In the cave, when he and Wei Wuxian had to tie their hands together, Lan Wangji's heart already started beating faster than usual. However, being an expert at concealing his emotions from a young age, he was able to save his face in front of Lan Yi. However, right now, Wei Wuxian was too close to him, waking up all the desires he tried so hard to get rid of while meditating in the pond come back.

"Lan Zhan! I didn't mean to." Wei Wuxian said, trying hard to hide the embarrassment on his face. Maybe if Lan Wangji wasn't there in the Cold Spring, he would've calmed down by now. However, since he was beside Lan Wangji the whole time, and even tied up their hands together, it did nothing but make him go madder.

Wei Wuxian was about to get up until he heard a familiar voice. "Wei Wuxian!" Wei Wuxian turned to the side and saw Jiang Cheng along with Wen Qing. "Jiang Cheng." Wei Wuxian said, smiling nervously as he saw Jiang Cheng approach him with a murderous glare. "Get up." Lan Wangji grit through his teeth, making Wei Wuxian realize that he had been on top of Lan Wangji in a rather ambiguous posture. He might be able to bear Jiang Cheng's jealousy, but he cannot bear Lan Wangji's anger.

Wei Wuxian nodded hurriedly and got up. "Wen Qing, Jiang Cheng. What are you two doing here?" He asked the two in front of him, as Lan Wangji slowly started removing the ribbon around their hands so that neither of the two in front of them realize it. "This question should be asked by me." Jiang Cheng said, his jealousy quite prominently known. "Wei Wuxian, where did you go for a day and a night? Do you have any idea how worried I was? If I couldn't find you, I had to send a letter to father saying you were missing." "A day and a night passed?" Lan Wangji asked, shocked. "Yes. Zewu-Jun has been looking for you without rest." Jiang Cheng said. "Do you two have any idea how worried everyone is for you two?" Wei Wuxian looked at Lan Wangji with an equally shocked expression. "Do you know that everyone is worrying about you?" Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji looked at each other with rather shocked and ashamed. A whole day and a night passed? Also, everyone was searching for them. However, although ashamed, they were even slightly glad that they were together for a whole day with no one disturbing them.

"Where did you two go?" Jiang Cheng asked angrily and jealously. "It's a long story. I'll tell you once we get back." Wei Wuxian said. "There is a sense of coldness between your eyebrows for both of you." Wen Qing said, looking at Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji. Jiang Cheng noticed it, took off his outer robe and threw it around Wei Wuxian's shoulders. "What is in that place?" Wen Qing asked.

"We wanted to cure our injuries in the Cold Spring. But we were carried away by a swirl of rapid water to an extremely cold place." Wei Wuxian said. "What place? How could something like this happen in The Cloud Recess?" Jiang Cheng asked. "We were trapped for so long." Wei Wuxian continued. "We even swam for a long time and exhausted our strength to find this exit." "What is in that place?" Wen Qing asked. "There-" Lan Wangji started but was cut through by Wei Wuxian. "Nothing. Just ice and freezing cold water. I'll tell you, I was almost frozen in there."  He said and started rubbing his arms. Jiang Cheng sighed, pulled off his outer robe and threw it around Wei Wuxian.

"Okay. Wei Ying, go and warm yourself up." Jiang Cheng said while still looking at his shivering fiancée. "Yeah, lets go." Wei Wuxian said and walked alongside Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng wrapped his arm around Wei Wuxian's shoulders and pulled him closer, making Lan Wangji fight down a pang of jealousy.

'What right do you have to feel jealous?' Lan Wangji thought. 'He's engaged to him after all. I have no say in this.' He breathed in deeply before walking away.
