"Lan Zhan, where will we go?" Wei Wuxian asked as he looked at Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji sighed for the nth time in the day. "I don't know." He replied as the wind blew back his hair. "But... I'll take you far away from Yunmeng and Gusu. Jiang Wanyin will definitely suspect you coming to Gusu." Wei Wuxian nodded slowly feeling guilty. Didn't people say love was beautiful? That it would be like a dream if you fall in love and the person you love loves you back? That it would make you so happy that you forget the world in the process? Then why was he feeling so horrible? Was it because Lan Wangji was not happy, and he knew the reason why the latter was upset was because of him?

'Lan Zhan.' Wei Wuxian thought as a tear ran out of his eye. 'I know I'm not worth it after all I did to you but... will you ever forgive?' Perhaps love is beautiful. Lan Wangji on the other hand knew exactly what to do. What Wei Wuxian needed right now was something that could make him forget all the pain. After Wei Wuxian left, Lan Wangji kept thinking about what he could do to cheer up the boy if he were to ever meet him again. He was determined to cheer up Wei Wuxian during their next meet up.

Suddenly, Wei Wuxian's stomach growled making both of them freeze. Feeling embarrassed, Wei Wuxian held his stomach. However, a small, yet melodious voice filled the air, making him look up. Wei Wuxian gasped. Lan Wangji was actually laughing!

"You laughed." Wei Wuxian said. Lan Wangji widened his eyes and instantly schooled his expression before landing on the ground. "Let's eat something." Lan Wangji said making Wei Wuxian nod. The two cultivators walked through the town and finally found a good place to eat.

Ever since Jiang Cheng raped him, Wei Wuxian wasn't able to eat anything properly and mostly vomited his insides out. Even now, Wei Wuxian doubted he'd be able to eat anything. But still, he'd try. It's been a few days already. Maybe he'll be alright.
