27. Escape

Wei Wuxian breathed in deeply before wiping his face and looking at his adoptive parents and fiancee. "I'm sorry, but I can't get married into this family. Excuse me." Wei Wuxian got off the bed and was about to leave until Jiang Cheng held his hand. "What did you say?" He asked, his voice dripping with ice. However, Wei Wuxian held his head high and stared right back at him. "I said... I won't get married into the family which killed my family!"

Something seemed to have snapped inside Jiang Cheng. The next moment, he threw the boy in black over his shoulder, shocking Wei Wuxian. "Jiang Wanyin! Put me down!" Wei Wuxian shouted as he kept hitting Jiang Cheng's back with his fists. Although Jiang Cheng winced in pain and his back started aching, he did not let go of Wei Wuxian.

After reaching his room, Jiang Cheng threw Wei Wuxian on the bed before locking the door. "Jiang Wanyin! Let me out right now!" Wei Wuxian shouted. Jiang Cheng pushed Wei Wuxian onto the bed and tried to kiss him. However, Wei Wuxian turned his head to a side and struggled to break free. This time, instead of aiming for his sensitive area, Wei Wuxian banged his head against Jiang Cheng's, making the latter release him and hold his forehead in pain.

Seizing this chance, Wei Wuxian broke open the window with his hands and jumped outside before Jiang Cheng could catch him. Wei Wuxian ran towards the compound wall and jumped over. He couldn't believe he almost got raped a second time. If Jiang Cheng hadn't been this possessive, this whole mess would've been avoided.

Wei Wuxian just ran. He didn't know where he was going. His hands were bleeding as well. But those were his least concerns. Wei Wuxian quickly ran towards a boat, jumped into it and started rowing the boat in a random direction. He can't remain tied up to Jiang Cheng. He has his own life and really can't be tied down to someone he doesn't like.
