Although he has things to do in Kamurocho, Izuku opted to stay at U.A. for a bit longer at Nezu's request. Citing that the students could use some "motivation."
(Also Merry Christmas for whoever celebrates it, hope you get something good from Santa or something idk.)
*7:30 AM. ,Class 1-A Homeroom.
The door slid open as Iida walked in "Nice and early! Exactly one hour and fifteen minutes ahead. I can enjoy some alone time without Bakugo's rude behavior for once.". He then spotted a familiar teen dressed in a stark white suit looking out the window of the class already.
"Midoriya, I presume?" Iida asked after setting his bags on the table.
Izuku turned around "Yeah, good morning." and leaned back against the window. He looked around the classroom and memorizing the details of it to note into his notebook later.
"Is something the matter?" Iida put some books out and turned to him.
"No, just looking. I used to imagine what being here would be like. Room's a lot bigger than I thought it'd be." Izuku gestured at the giant door.
Iida nodded "Yes, I believe because some of the students here can be rather large, like our classmate Shoji."
"Huh, noted." Izuku looked at the board, and then back out the window where he can see the campus down below.
'I guess it's not my destiny here, I guess.' Izuku thought to himself, 'But it's fine, I'm already past that.'
He then caught Iida looking at him "What's up?"
"Well, if that's alright with you, I have a question."
"Shoot."
"Bakugo has been grumbling about you for a while, do you two happen to know each other?" Iida asked with curiosity.
Izuku turned back around "We have some history together, I suppose. We used to be friends, highlight the used to part."
"I see, he seems to be very angry with you."
Izuku sighed "I guess that's what being quirkless gets you, been that way for at least 10 years I guess."
Iida seemed to remember Izuku's circumstance "Oh right, yes. Quirkless Citizens are very badly treated in some cases. Sorry for bringing it up."
"It's fine, If U.A. allows Bakugo to be here, then I suppose there is something more." Izuku hid his solemn look as he reached into his breast pocket, and pulling out a white box.
Iida, being the curious person he sometimes is, decided to peek over his shoulder to see what that box is, 'Perhaps it's a secret that allows Midoriya to fight! If I just get a good look...'
The box Izuku is holding turns out to be the Seven Stars Charcoal Filter Cigarettes that Kiryu recommended to him a while back "Why do adults even like these things?"
"SMOKING IS BAD MIDORIYA!" Iida tackled Izuku out the window as they fell out.
*About 20 minutes later.
Izuku is seen back again at the window, this time with Iida sitting with an apologetic look on his face in the background.
"It's fine, Iida. I don't like smoking. I'm just curious why adults like it." Izuku glanced at him.
"But I tackled you, a civilian, out of a window! It is very irresponsible of me and I am deeply sorry!" Iida got up and did a perfect 69 degrees bow.
"Nice!" said Hawks who is perched on a building outside "A 69 haha funny number joke, sure hope that shit doesn't get old quick."
Izuku just sighed and waved him off "Well, it's nothing."
