I sighed. I dont think that I was particularly ready for tonight. Calum was going to "get jealous" and stop dating the girl... Or not. The feeling of wanting to bang my head against a wall hit me like a brick and I sighed again.
"Emmas here!" My mom yelled and I looked down at my skimpy black dress and pulled it down.

"We had a reservation for Hemmings." Luke said to the lady at the receiving desk. I stood next to Ashton that stood next to Calum that stood next to his date Ashley. Emma stood in front of me next to Luke.
"Ah i see it right here." She gave us a smile and led us to our table.
I sat down, ashton next to me, across from Emma. We talked about stupid things like school and stuff, Ashtons arm was around the back of my seat. I would look at cal every once and a while and each time we made eye contact he would grip his dates hand tighter and I would look away.
I got pasta. Nothing too fancy just noodles in alfredo sauce. I moved it around my plate, eating small bites.
"Not hungry?" Ashley asked me from diagonal me at the table.
I tried to laugh. "Not really." I said. But i wanted to scream, "No im not because you're here face munching the guy I like."
But I stayed quiet.
"Here." Emma took my plate and dumped a few noodles onto her plate. "Less of a portion." She threw a weak smile at me.
Ashton patted my knee under the table. We had talked before the date and he told me that he promised he wouldn't try anything. It was all just friends. I admired him for that.
Calum coughed. "Um Harlin do you think I could talk to you for a minute?"
I nodded. "Sure."
He glared at Ashton. "Alone."
I got up and he took my wrist in his hand, leading me through the restaurant slowly. He pulled me into the family restroom, closed the door and locked it.
"What the hell are you doing?" He asked angrily.
