Hyoga x Shun Short Stories

Chapter 3

Lightweight

Shun's out with the gang while Hyoga stays at home. But soon enough, Cygnus receives a call, asking him to pick his drunk boyfriend up.

"Ok! I'm going now!!! Last chance..."

"You look amazing." Hyoga approached his boyfriend and kissed him on the lips. "But I really have to finish this..."

"Alright," Shun answered with the most adorable smile "don't wait me up!"

"Have fun!!"

Shun was going with Seiya and Shiryu to a new bar that had opened recently. Hyoga was invited too of course, but he had paperwork he had to finish for Camus to be delivered to Athena; so he decided to pass this time.

He stayed in the living room of their apartment, very focused on his work. The work was finished rather late, 23:30 more or less. After all that was done, Hyoga decided to have some dinner; he tried to prepare himself a sandwich with the little cooking ability he had, but looking into the fridge for the ingredients he found a bento box with a post-it on it:

"In case you get hungry, ducky ^-^"

He grinned, Shun was always doing that kind of stuff, he knew him that well.

After dinner and a couple of episodes of his favorite show, he decided to call it for the day, but something stopped him. The blond felt as if he needed to stay up, like he couldn't go to bed for a reason, not yet.

At 1:45 am his phone rang. It was Shun.

"Hey Shunny! How's it going??"

"Ammm... Hyoga?" that wasn't Shun's voice. It was Shiryu's. "It's me, Shiryu"

"Oh, hi man... everything okay?" Hyoga sounded concerned.

"Yeah! Just... I think Shun and Seiya... are a little... they drank too much... haha..." Hyoga breathed a sigh of relief. "Could you come and pick him up?"

"Sure, I'll be there"

"Great! Thanks man!"

"Bye"

That was it, the reason Hyoga couldn't go to bed just like that. Deep inside him he knew it. Shun's relationship with alcohol wasn't very good, he couldn't tolerate it much.
He put his coat on and grabbed his keys, heading to the bar.

When arrived, he didn't have a hard time finding his friends, since they were having a blast at the karaoke. Shiryu was only watching, a little embarrassed, the Dragon Saint felt a relieved when he saw the Cygnus Saint sitting next to him:

"... Zaaaankoku na tenshi no tēze
Madobe kara yagate tobitatsu
Hotobashiru atsui patosu de
Omoide wo uragiru naraAaAAAaaa
Kono sora wo daite kagayakuuuuUu
Shounen yooooo, shinwa ni nareeeee..."

"Good grief... it's their third song, and it doesn't even sound good, haha. Thanks for coming, I couldn't have taken care of both of them"

"It's okay, I imagined something like this could happen..."

The pair stared at their drunk friends making the fool out of themselves, for the third time in a row, according to Dragon.

"... Hito wa ai wo tsumugi nagara rekishi wo tsukuruUuUUuuuuuuUuuUU
Megami nante narenai mama
Watashi wa ikiruuuuuuuuuUUUUUUUUUU..."

"Damn!" Hyoga said, reacting to the out of tune singing of his boyfriend. Shiryu just laughed.

"... ZAankoku na TENSHIIii no tēeeEezeeEE
Madobe kara yagate tobitatsuUuuuu
Hotobashiru atsui patosu de
Omoide WOoo uragiru NAAAAAARAAAAAAAA
Kono sora wo daite kagayaku
ShOuNeN yo, SHINWA NI NAREEEEEEEeeeeeEEEEeeeEEEE!!!!!!!"
