"I was with my parents and classmates on a trip to an island with an amusement park to spend the week, only for us all to see that construction was never finished and that we were now being hunted by monsterous creatures, as well as the islands natives, the werehyenas". "Humanoid hyenas with weapons that they made out of what ever they could find like wood, scrap metal and bones". "Most of my friends were killed in the chaos". "However one in particular was left behind despite my wishes, and when he returned is when things got real".

From the forest leaped a werecat acting like a big cat. It leaped into a bush and killed Fru-Fru's mother and then forced her father into a clearing where it killed him.

"I was looking down at my father's body when drool landed on me". "I looked up to see eyes in the brush". "At which point I ran with something right on my trail". "I ran until a classmate ran by me straight at the beast". "Now that I got a good look at it, I saw that it was running on all fours". "And recognized it as another one of my classmates". "It bit my classmate on the neck and through him to the ground". "It then pounced on him biting his neck and not letting go". "The teen went limp, and it turned towards me and ran at me". "I saw some more classmates in the distance and ran to them". "We ran away from it until we lost it". "At which point we walked to a group of classmates on a hill"."Who's this", one of them asked. I could see that there were four of them, mostly ghouls. "We don't know, we just saw her running away from a creature", they told her. "Poor thing", she said. "Well, she can get going now", he said. "Shut up, look at her, she's terrified that something was trying to kill her", she told him. "Well, won't her parents come looking for her", he asked. A roar broke up their argument. "Her parents are dead", a terrifying voice said. "I killed them", it added. "And she has no one to come looking ... for her". "This is not your concern freakshow", the kitsune ghoul told him. "The ghoul is mine", he said. "I have already tasted it's mother's blood ... it is my right". "Your right according to who's law", another one said to him. "Law, law, we are on an island filled with giant monsters unlike anything anyone has ever seen, do you think there is such thing, as law", he told her. "It's best you leave here now", she informed him. "Careful now", he told her. "You do not want to challenge me". "Oh trust me, I think we could defeat you rather easily". She pulled a book from her bag. "I just need the perfect spell to do that", she said as began flipping through it's pages. "Oh yeah, how about a spell that can put you in a grave for good". He hissed at her in response. "You can not keep her safe forever", he told her. "For there is one thing you do not understand, so remember this", he informed her. "Nothing lasts forever, especially on this island". "And one day, the sun will set upon you all, and when it does". "This child's blood, will run down my chin". At this point, he had made his point and left with a growl. The only bad part, what he said came true.

All my surviving classmates were killed by the island's creature's. All that was left was me, and that's when he came for me. However I managed to stand up to him, and fatally injure him. He died and was buried right were he did. Yet, I felt, sad. Whatever caused him to do what he did, I have no doubt the werehyenas were behind it. And since I had to kill him, I felt guilty. Because he was innocent in reality, yet I ended his life, and was never able to find out what happened to him. Every day I hope and pray that he could forgive me, and I hope he's doing good up there in heaven. Either way, I was alive to tell my story.

All that was left was to find a way to survive. I found a house in good condition and was even able to get the water working. I then looked around and noticed that I could catch fish and eat them. So I made a spear, practiced, and soon got the hang of it.

"So that's my story", she told us. "Dang, I'm sorry you had to go through all that", I told her. "Don't be, it's not your fault", she said in response. "Besides", she said as she pulled up on her shirt, revealing four tattooed symbols. One werefox, and two werecats. "They'll always be a part of me", she said. "How did you make these", I asked. "I didn't", she answered. "The last of the mansters that protected me made these for me". "Before he unfortunately disappeared", she added sadly. "Yet, his work wasn't in vein", Fru-Fru said. "For I know carry those I've lost with me, in the form of some mighty symbols". "Wow", I said, amazed. "I have a question", Frankie said. "Why didn't you refer to this werecat by his name", she asked. "I'm scared to, for some reason", she replied. "Well, you don't have to if you don't want to", I told her. "Thanks Clawdeen", she said to me. "Anyway you ghouls make yourselves comfortable, I was just about to check on something", she told us. "Sure thing", replied Draculaura.

I grabbed some flowers and kneeled down in front of the grave. As I set the flowers down in front of the gravestone, I said, "rest in peace, friend". I read what I had carved into the stone. "Rest in peace Zeather Panthera, 2005-2022", and then walked away.

Fru-Fru didn't hear something say, "I'm still here". Then a hand with claws on it arose from the ground and something dug itself out of the ground.
