Young children were playing in the park round the corner from you as you waited on a wooden bench for silverfang.

It had been two days since the Class S meeting and you stayed home for the most of it, although one night you went over to kings place and played some video games of his. It was fun but he would get irritated when you'd try to look through his game collection for some reason.

The sky above you was a baby blue colour and fluffed white clouds were scattered around it. If you could stay on that bench instead of patrol, you would.

As you inhaled the clean air deeply a familiar voice called you,
"Ah, y/n. Sorry to keep you waiting."

When you looked across you saw silverfang, with a wholesome smile resting on his wrinkled face.

"Don't worry about it. Let's get going." You reply and stand.

The two of you walked side by side, enjoying the bright day, in search for the hero hunter. City S was full of nature which was mesmerising and calming. You and silverfang occasionally small talked but he seemed on edge.

His body was far more tense and he was keeping an eye out at every corner the two of you took. You were a bit unsure of why he was like this.

He was clearly trying to not be obvious about it and worry you, but you noticed pretty quickly. You didn't pry him with questions to his behaviour either, it was probably none of your business. You didn't sense anything around the both of you so you were in no danger in which he'd react like this.

As you and silverfang walked through City S, you passed another park which was more empty to the one you were near before. Only a few people were inside, and as you walked out of sight from the park you made eye contact with someone.

You didn't see much but what you did see was a man with his kid on one of the pale wooden benches. The person was in a slouched position and were large with a muscular arm draped over the bench. The kid had a ridiculous haircut and absorbed into a small yellow book.
You turned back to silverfang once you got past the park, yet they still watched you through the surrounding trees with sharp, intriguing eyes.

"Is everything alright?" Silverfang asked when you turned your head away from the park.

"Huh? yeah, it was nothing." You reply with a reassuring smile.

A calm silence fell upon you and silverfang. So far into patrol there had been no sight of the hero hunter, or so you thought since you had obliviously passed him.

Birds squawked in the distance and a chilled breeze flew past you and the elder man. Your feet scraped the pavement as silverfang stepped carefully next to you.

As you looked into the sky, you felt the mood change. It was perfectly calm before yet now the atmosphere felt tense.
A feeling of paranoia swept over you.

You turned behind you to see if the atmospheric change was from around you and the rank 3 hero, yet you just saw innocent civilians walking around.

When you spun back, silverfang was looking at where you just were.

"See anything?" Silverfang asked, prepared for a fight.

"No, just felt a mood change you know? Thought it would be a monster or something, that's all." You reply, walking again in hopes of something to happen during patrol.

The scenery was nice and everything, but you were starting to get bored of it.

"Ah I see..."
Bangs voice was different and less sweet than usual.
