Your POVI walk through the market place to shop for food. I hate my job but it keeps a roof over my head and food in my stomach just barely. I work at ramen restaurant. It sells random items too not just ramen. It was a last option job. I mainly work on stocking shelves and attracting customers. I keep walking and people look irritated as I walk by.
What's the problem? I hear a baby crying. A child is holding him. Unproperly too. I see. His parents must not be around. The boy is trying his best to make him stop.
I guess the baby will stop eventually. My mind won't put down that I should help. No one else will and he shouldn't have to go through that. I go up to the boy. "Excuse me." I say. I kneel down to the boys level. "Can I help you?" I ask.
He's unsure but nods. I take the baby and hold him. I bounce the baby gently in my arms humming a lullaby. The baby calms down quickly. The boy looks at me amazed. "Thank you." He says. "Do you have a family?" I ask.
"My mommy passed away last year and my daddy is at home. I wanted to show Senjuro the pretty flowers here." He says. "You shouldn't run off like that. Your father must be very worried." I say. He looks down. "Daddy has been sad and mad ever since mommy left. He doesn't smile anymore. I don't think he'd be worried." He says. I hug him and he's surprised. "I'm sure he cares about you so much. He just doesn't know how to feel at the moment. He's still sad from losing your mommy. So he'll need all the help he can get to feel better. You being around may help him." I say. He tears up and holds me.
He cries loudly and I rub his back. He must be going through so much too. "Everything will get better. I promise you. What's your name?" I ask. He tries to breathe normal by holding back his tears. "Ky-Kyojuro." He says.
His nose is running and his face is all wet. I pull a handkerchief from my chest. I wipe his face. "Well then Kyojuro I'm (y/n). How about we get you and your brother home." I say. He nods. I hand him the handkerchief and stand up. He holds my hand and I help him get home.
(This is your outfit by the way.)

A man is looking frantically around. That must be their father they look just like him. He's a very handsome man. "Sir." I say loudly. He looks towards me. He's in front of us in seconds. The speed was unlike anything I've ever seen before.
He's even more handsome up close. "Daddy!" Kyojuro says. "Kyojuro don't scare me like that." He says and holds him tight. "Who are you?" He asks. He looks at me. "This is (Y/n) she helped me calm Senjuro down and she was taking me home. She's very nice." He says and goes to hand me the snotty wet handkerchief. "You can just keep that Kyojuro. Like he said I'm (Y/n)." I say.
"He's not crying." He says looking at Senjuro. He seems impressed and slightly shocked. "I think he just needed a nap he'll probably get hungry soon." I say. I go to hand him to him. Senjuro whimpers.
"Could you just come with us?" He asks. "Sure I don't have anywhere to be." I say. I assume he's taking me to their home. "I'm Shinjuro by the way." He says. I nod Kyojuro holds my hand.

Senjuro was quiet the whole time. He sleep peacefully. "He's only three weeks old." Shinjuro says. "I'm sure Kyojuro told you about their mother." He says. "He did." I say. Kyojuro looks so sleepy.
Shinjuro picks him up. We get to their house. "He didn't tell me a lot but I'm sure that she was a very kind amazing woman to have raised him. He's a sweet boy." I say. He's silent for a moment. "She was." He says. "I may be a stranger but I am a great listener if you'd like to talk." I ask. He unlocks his door.
"....That would be nice. Come in." He says letting me in. "I'll go put Kyojuro in his bed and come back." He says. I nod. I look around. It's kind of mess in here dusty and it has a strange scent. I sit on the floor continuing to hold Senjuro. It's a shame that he won't get to know her personally. I rub his cheek with the back of my index finger.
He yawns. I smile at him. "Sorry for the mess." Shinjuro says. "It's okay." I say. He sits down. "He's so calm. He must like you." He says. "Maybe." I say.
"He always cries when I pick him up. He doesn't like me." He says. "He does maybe it's just how you hold him. Babies are complicated and can't tell you how they feel. So it can be really hard and tiring." I say. "Do you have children?" He asks. "No but my aunt has a few kids so I helped her out a lot." I say. "Hm." He says.
"Would you like to try holding him?" I ask. "Oh no thanks. He's being quiet and that's rare. He looks so peaceful." He say. He does realize he has to take him at some point right....
