Your POV
I sigh. I hate this he's always out on missions these days. He never spends time with me. I can't stand those three sometimes. His little fan club always sweeps him away before I can get a word in. Going on missions with other people is nice and the money always pays well. I miss him though.
Is he ignoring me? He is basically the leader. Maybe he doesn't want to spend time with me. Maybe we just aren't compatible enough. How would I even talk to him about this if I never see him? I really don't want to do this but I guess I'll have to break up with him in a note.
I want affection and he's not giving it to me. I haven't seen him in two months and he's been going and coming back from quests during that time. I should have seen the signs sooner. I get a piece of paper and a pen from my bag. I just stare at the paper my heart breaks as I stare at it.
I start to write. Gajeel plops down next to me. "What's up shorty." He says. "Hey Gajeel." I say. "You seemed down wanna talk about it?" He asks.
"I'm breaking up with Laxus in a letter since I never see him or can catch him when he does come here." I say. He's silent. He takes the letter and crumbles it up in his pocket. "Hey!" I say.
"Walk with me." He says and gets up. I sigh and get up. He puts an arm around me as we walk. "You really like him a lot?" He asks. "I do and this is hard to do but it needs to be done. I hate being ignored especially when I'm in a relationship." I say.
"You know how his goons are though. Always up his ass. They never give him a break." He says. "There's nothing I can do about it. We barely ever got any alone time because of them." I say. He thinks. "Me and you are going on a quest just us. It'll take a month so you'll have plenty of time to think before you go through with this. It'll be healthy. You won't have to be in a constant state of worry about your relationship and all that mess." He says. "...I guess it'll help." I say. "Then go get packing." He says.
Time skip past the quest
I stretch. "Man I'm stiff." I say. "I can break your back." He says. "No thanks and it's not break its pop. I'd like my spine intact." I say. "Eh same thing. Anyway I was thinking. You want to be official." He says.
"What do you mean?" I ask. "Us teaming up. You bounce around a lot. We work good together so. Maybe we could be a team." He says. "Sure. You have me to yourself. Don't get jealous if I get asked to join someone's group." I say. "I will not why would I?!" He says. "Because with the way you make it sound you want me to be only your partner." I say.
"We work well together is all. It's not like we're a couple or anything." He says. "Well we'll be together all the time anyway. I know how often you go on missions." I say. "Yeah I'll try to go easy on you. We need to train together and do everything together." He says. "Everything?" I ask. "Yeah eat train sleep." He says.
"We might as well bathe together." I say. "If you want I have no issue being naked." He says. "I was being sarcastic." I say. "You aren't good at being sarcastic." He says as we get to my place. "I'll see you tomorrow. We'll go over routines and stuff." He says.
"Okay." I say and he leaves. I get inside then plop on my bed. I couldn't take my mind off of laxus and the situation. I miss him so much more now. Especially his touch.
I'm craving him more and more everyday. I look at the picture of us on the nightstand. "I miss you so so much laxus." I say aloud. "You have?" I hear him say. I sit up quickly. He's standing in front of me. I'm silent.
"Is it really you?" I ask. He sits next to me. I guess there's no time like the present. "Laxus do you care about me?" I ask. "Of course I care about you." He says. "Then why haven't you talked to me taken at least a day away from work. You've gone mission after mission but not once have you ever even bothered to even say hi to me." I say. He blushes and looks away.
"I'm just planning for our future. We've been together for awhile and I just want to make sure we're comfortable in the future. So I've been taking on more work. My group can't really keep secrets and they push me to be better. So they wanted to help as much as they can. I really do like you (Y/n)." He says.
"I'm glad you feel that way but if I'm in your future shouldn't I be involved in your present? Laxus we can worry about the future later. Save up here and there. What matters to me most is you. I want to be with you all the time because I care about you. I want your affection and attention. I don't want to wait to be with you." I say.
He looks at me then kisses me passionately. I kiss him back and hold him close. He holds me gently. "I love you." He says. "I love you too." I say.
