Your POV
I watch over the kids in day care. It's almost time for pick up and Toji isn't here. Guess I'm taking megumi home. I've known Toji since high school. He may be a pain in the ass but he has his moments. I've helped him raise megumi.
We're kind of like a divorced couple but we've never been a thing. When I found out his wife passed. I felt like I needed to take care of Megumi. I knew that Toji wouldn't be able to take care of him. I knew the costs of taking care of a new born baby but I didn't care.
When I saw Megumi I was so conflicted. I couldn't just let this child have a cruel terrible future. The way he looked at me when I held him made me feel like I needed to protect him. I refused to let anything bad happened to him. Toji didn't even argue about it.
He just let me do whatever. "Megumi it's time to go home get your things." I say. "Okay mama." He says. He hops down from my seat and gets his lunch box and backpack. "Did you have fun today?" I ask.
"Mhm." He says. "Do you want pizza for dinner?" I ask. "Yes please. Can we get the one with the red man on the box?" He says. "Sure Papa John's it is." I say.
Time skip
Megumi eats his pizza happily at the table. The doorbell rings. It's Toji. I open the door and just stare at him. "What is it?" I ask. "I came to get Megumi." He says. "You're late. Toji you can't just not show up. You should at least call me and tell me you'll be late." I say.
"He's with you so he's fine." He says. "That's not the point." I say. "Look I'm here now okay. I'll do better about showing up." He says. "Daddy!" Megumi says and runs up to us. He picks him up and megumi hugs him tight.
"Hey short stack miss me?" He asks. "Lots and lots I made a picture!" He says. He shows him the picture. It's of us holding his hands smiling. "It's very nice." He says.
"Mama can this go on the fridgerator." He asks excitedly. "Sure." I say. Because it won't stick to Toji's cardboard refrigerator. I let him in and lock the door. I go to the kitchen and put it on the refrigerator.
God I wish he was just better. This isn't the first or second time he's done this. It's so annoying how inconsistent he is. This is all for Megumi though nothing else matters to me. I look into the living room.
He's good with interacting with him. Megumi is always so happy to see him. It's nice. Toji cares for him I do believe that but I wish he'd show it more than just by playing with him. He needs to take care of him too.
Time skip
We put megumi to bed and give him his goodnight kisses. I sit on the couch and wait for him to leave. He sits beside me. "Shouldn't you be leaving?" I ask. "Well I know that I've treated you both unfairly and I want to make it up to you." He says. "Just be more consistent that's all I ask." I say.
"Let me take you to dinner." He asks. "Just save it and spend it on Megumi. Better yourself with it." I say. He just looks away. I just rest my arms on the back of the couch and tilt my head back. Something's heavy on my lap.
I open my eyes and he on my lap. "What are you doing?" I ask. "I'm trying to ask you out." He says. "I already had dinner. I don't want to eat again and Megumi is sleeping." I say. "On a date (Y/n). God you can be so dense." He says.
"Fuck you." I say. "Not my fault you can't take a hint." He says. "Bite me Toji Fushiguro." I say. He bites my neck. I'm shocked.
He holds the other side of my neck then looks at me. "You asked for it so I gave it to you." He says. "Don't act so smug about it." I say. "I promise I'll do better just please let me just kiss you." He says. "Just one kiss?" I ask.
"Mhm." He says. I nod. He kisses me gently and passionately. I kiss him back. He sits down putting me on top. I wrap my arms around his neck. He grips my thighs.
Flash back
"This is stupid you know." I say. "Ah ah ah no complaining you both lost you know the drill." Gojo says. I groan. "You can handle spending the day together in a locked room. We'll see you tomorrow." He says. I just sit on the bed knowing there's no escape.
"You know we don't have to just sit here." Toji says. "What other choice do we have?" I ask. "Well furby just said we'd be here all day. Chances are he won't be back any time soon." He says. I just look confused. He get in the middle of the bed.
"Let's make out." He says. "Why?" I ask. "Just because it'll help the time pass by faster. Nobody will suspect a thing. It'd be our little secret." He says. I just look at him. He is right about the whole time thing.
He pats his lap. "Fine." I say. I get in his lap. He pulls me close to him and we kiss. I move my hands up his chest up to his hair. He puts his hands on thighs then slides them to my ass. I press down into his lap.
He squeezes it and pulls me as close as possible. He puts his hands under my skirt. "You sure move fast." I say. "Can you blame me?" He asks. "Even though you're damn near inside me already with your hard on. I'm gonna have to stop you." I say.
"Oh not good enough?" He asks. "No I just don't want my virginity taken just yet." I say. "So you are a virgin." He says with a smirk. "No." I say embarrassed. "No need to be embarrassed about it. It was obvious from the start. So hop off." He says.
"Wait you just wanted to have sex with me?!" I say. "That's normally what making out leads up to occasionally." He says. "I swear you are just." I say. "Now now no need to get angry. You seemed to be enjoying smooching me. I will admit. You're a damn good kisser...for a virgin." He says. "I will never ever want to sleep with you I can promise you that." I say flustered. "We'll see about that." He says.
Present
I stop kissing him. "Broke that promise didn't you." He says and smirks. I look away. "You still have your virginity don't you." He says with that stupid smirk. "No." I say. "Huh?!" He says.
"Toji that was years ago we were sophomores." I say. "Who then who slept with you before me?" He asks. "None of your business and who said we were having sex?!" I say. He just looks away. "Why are you so desperate to sleep with me you could literally have anyone you want." I say.
"I don't just want anyone I want you." He says. "Why?!" I say. "Because I'm in love with you! Are you happy now? I'm in love with you!" He says. I just stare at him wide eyed. He blushes his face is completely pink.
It's silent. It doesn't make sense though. "I thought you didn't like me." I say. He just looks away.
"I love you because you're caring you're hot headed and you don't take shit from anyone. You didn't have to be around me. You especially didn't have to put up with any of the shit I've put you through. But you did. You stayed for Megumi and I'm glad you stay because with out you I'd be lost. I'd be worse than what I am now. You make me feel like I'm at least worthy of someone. That someone would stay by my side. I know that you only tolerate me for Megumi. You could have taken him from me by now. You still haven't though. I really want to be a better dad though honestly. I want to be a better dad for him and for you to see me as a decent person. Someone you want to be around." He says.
I hold his face then kiss him. He kisses me back. "Toji I see you as a decent person. You try to be in Megumi's life and that's what matters to me. You've always been more than decent to me. I wouldn't have been around as long as I have if I didn't." I say. He holds me close and I kiss him.
