Hundreds of years ago, this universe was visited by alternative au's gods. Those gods fought here, causing our universe to serge in power and pain.

We now have stories on who they are, the statues told us. The statue's tell us.

The inky skeleton stared at their history book, he had heard of them from children's stories but never really understood why they had to be so important.

"What's wrong brother?" Another walked over, sitting next to him, "oh, is it homework?"

"Yeah, it's about the gods again. Do you know much about them, gradient?" The inky skeleton addressed his brother.

Gradient, Paperjam's older brother and an art teacher. He does a lot of textile design work with students and one of the most trustworthy teachers. Paperjam is a student, he is in year 10 and took history as one of his favourite subjects.

"Bits, Only the most powerful four." Gradient murmured, Paperjam stares at him to get him to talk.

Paperjam put down his book, "go on! I wanna hear." He crossed his legs and gave his full attention to Gradient.

"Fine." Gradient hummed, a smile across his face, "well, the four that I remember are; the god of the moon, the god of the sun, the creator and the destroyer." Paper jam nodded, "the two god's of sun and moon are brothers, they were very close but something happened and they went against each other. The creator and destroyer are enemies, the destroyer was ruthless towards all of them."

Paperjam sighed, "I meant something I didn't know."

"Ok then." Gradient smirks at Paperjam, "there is evidence that they aren't dead but actually the statues."

Paperjam stared at him for a moment before bursting into laughter, "I don't think that's true, I mean. We're visiting them as a school trip tomorrow."

"Yeah, have you packed yet? You need your books, warm clothes and your phone." Gradient questioned parentally. Paperjam had never known his parents but Gradient has looked after him since he was born.

Paperjam stared at him, "I've got everything, mum." He smirked at Gradient.

"Just looking after my ickle baby bro!" Gradient spoke, his voice going higher pitched as he ruffled Paperjam's inky splotched skull. Paperjam wafted his hand away.

"Gradient!!" Paperjam whined but laughing.

Gradient smiled at Paperjam, "just glad you're getting so far."

"You're coming aswell so technically you could just take my stuff?" Paperjam asked, laying back on the blue carpet.

Gradient looked down at Paperjam, "well you'll have to bring it into school and put it in the classroom but I'll be happy to keep it safe." Paperjam nodded.

"That's Gradi." Paperjam grinned, "now I'm going to go finish some homework."

Gradient stood up, "do you want a drink? I'm making myself some coffee."

"Have we got any hot-chocolate?" Paperjam asked, Gradient nods in response. He walked out of the room, leaving the door open for him to come back.

Paperjam glanced at the book, the cover being a bunch of symbols around the title.

The symbols were scattered around the words, 'the wonders of the god's statues.' With two crowns next to eachother, then a bunch of blue strings and a paint brush.
