to the griffon capital, gilda needs clousure

After their talk azul and sombra stepped forward into the warmth of the crystal empire, he saw them, looking at him with suprise as he hid behind Azul as all the crystal ponies took a step back from both entities that came through the protective barrier, as he looked to a disappointed twilight pinkie and Gilda, staring at the others for having activated the crystal heart...even though azuls heart skipped a beat when he saw their crystal appearance as well as their prettied up selves from the activation of the heart as he walked forward with sombra in tow he met with his mares and griffoness.

(Azul) ," Hey girls, this is the real sombra...and it looks like we are getting side eye... let's head back to pony-", he never finished his sentence as Gilda spoke up next.

(Gilda) ," Wait!....I want to go to the griffon Empire...I need to confront my parents...I need some closure.... my parents kicked me out... I want to know why... I owe it to shy and rainbow....".

(Pinkie) ," Gilda...it's ok...you don't have to prove anything... but if it will put you at ease...we will do it....for you". She nuzzled the griffoness and kissed her cheek.

(Twilight) ," Alright...is sombra being sent back to ponyville...he doesn't seem....welcome here...he needs a fresh start."

(Sombra) ," I actually am...I feel more at ease with my best friend/ uncle figure here...plus....my people are beneath here....dead...I don't want to be here any longer", he said sadly dropping his head.

The other mares and cadence and shinning armor overhearing this, their heads dropped in shame, and Azul is glad that spike didn't pass out due to the cold, he really is a tough cookie, as he looked to Gilda and she knew that look and shivered and shook her head, Azul nodded.

Azul: ," and it looks like Gilda just wants me there, seems she dosent want to put more on your plate then you already have, I also may check under this castle later...sombra...I know what you said...but the umbrum are survivors...their tough...pinkie...twi...help sombra move in and get settled...he needs it", Gilda meanwhile did feel a bit bad not wanting her herd mates with her....but...she didn't feel ready for them to see her home in shambles...she felt embarrassed about it, as twi and pinkie walked up and kissed their stallion before walking over and doing the same with Gilda, as they then walked in front of sombra, showing him the way to ponyville....his new home.

As Azul and Gilda sat off for the griffonlands, Gilda was very nervous as they walked, seeming scared of what she will learn.

(Azul) ," Gilda....it's ok....I know you're nervous, but I'm here for you, I wouldn't ever leave you... I love you, my amazoness. " He said as he kissed the griffon.

Gilda blushed and sighed, nuzzling into his chest as tears pricked her eyes

(Gilda) ," But...what if....they want me back...what if there is a fight...what if it's something I don't want to learn?" She worried as she stuck close to him

(Azul) ," That's a risk you're going to have to take...besides...I wouldn't let them take you... they'd have to get past me first." He smirked and nuzzled her, easing her fears....

But as they came to the griffin empire...something wasn't right...an uneasy feeling crepped into Gilda, but she wasn't the only one, Azul was on high alert, his misscolored eyes darting to and fro, scanning for anything that could attack them or for what was making this feeling of dread and unease wash over them, they came to a knarled woods, vines with spikes over them...something was definitely wrong... Azul smelled sulfur in the air and didn't like it one bit.... as they walked around they walked passed it...but what they saw neither could beleive....where there was the most houses in Griffonia, there was a black scorch....houses razed to the ground....as the two exchanged glances and rushed towards the griffon capital...they passed buildings crumbling or charred black as they came to the castle...pushing it open, they saw all the residents of griffonia....cowering or preparing for a large scale fight
