The little filly

He appeared in a hospital, as he heard screaming from a room, he heard hoof falls and melded with a shadow on a wall, as a dark blue stallion, with a white colt with a blue mane came running in, as they passed the shadow he was hiding in, he hoped from it, to the stallion, as they came to a room, he saw a mare with a white coat, lavender mane , with a pink and purple stripe in it, she was giving birth, hours passed and soon, a nurse came in, with a pink blanket, she hoofed the bundle to Twilight velvet, as she looked upon her daughter, azul recognized her.

(T.velvet) ," Oh honey!, she's adorable, my sweat baby...*she cooed* what should we call her?". She said as she held the tiny filly in her hooves.

Night light thought and thought, then had an idea.

(Nightlight) ," How about, Twilight Sparkle". He replied tearfully as he was handed his daughter and her lavender eyes opened, as she giggled and reached for her father.

Shining meanwhile was marveling his new sister, as he asked. (Shinning) ," Dad, can I hold little twily?".

His dad nodded as he sat shining down in a nearby chair as he handed, shinning his baby sister, as she held her, tears of happiness dropped down all three ponies muzzles.

Azul watching noticed how she looked just like...clover, and decided to protect her, so as they went home, he caught a ride with the colt, not willing to stay in the same spot for to long...

Little did any pony know...this was just the beginning.

At 2 months old twilight was always crying in the night, and her parents tried to get her to settle down, but it was no use, she was becoming to dependent on her parents, one night as she cried, her parents had to hold themselves back from going to her, they silently cried as her brother was none the wiser, a heavy sleeper.

As twilight cried, she instantly noticed something In the dark, two mismatched orbs, she began to cry harder as the eyes approached.

(Azul) ," what is it sweat thing...afraid of the dark?, let me fix that". He said quietly as he came Into the light, as he looked over the filly.

Twilight was about to wale the loudest she could, when clawed hands picked her up, and rocked her.

(Azul) ," shhh, there is nothing to fear, this monster will protect you". He said sweetly as he pated the filly's back.

Twilight began to stop, as she yawned and nuzzled into this beast, this oddity, she didn't understand what he said, and yet... she did, as she snuggled into her new protecter and friend.

She fell asleep, and no longer feared the darkness.

Years passed as she grew, she played with her brother and loved learning, at night she asked Azul, if she could fly at night, and he obliged, he took her flying in the night and showed her many things, she giggled happily in the night, she loved these outings with Azul, as they flew back to her home she was placed in bed as she snuggled up in her covers, but then Said two things that melted Azul's heart.

(Filly twilight) ," Azul, I love you...will you please sweep with me". The young filly blushed as tears pricked her eyes.

Azul held his chest as he nodded, he climbed into bed and wrapped around the filly, keeping her safe, his form very flexible, as twilight drifted off, Azul looked upon this filly.

(Azul) ," I will always be there for you, Twilight". He smiled as he nestled his head near hers, but his eyes never closed.

And day after day.

Week after week.

Year after year.

They became so close that twilight refused to not have Azul near her, and despite his caution, he decided to always stay in her shadow...

As feelings started to swim about twilights head....she wondered what they where

When she grew older...
