A monster brings in an orphan

Another day dawned in ponyville as twilight for once woke up early, kissed her stallion to witch he was already up before her kissing her softly she sighed with content and when she pulled away , she said she had things to do today, and Azul reluctantly parted from twilight.

(Twilight) ," Azul why don't you hang out with spike while I try to get some of my studies done, I've put them off long enough.. but I don't feel a rush to get them done anymore...so I thank you for pulling me out of my nature.. I would have never met you or the girls if I had always been in my studies...so thank you my prince", she kisses him, as she blushes and sighs into the kiss.

(Azul) ," of course love, books and learning are great, but you sometimes have to learn through experience, and I love you my star, I'm going to hang with spike, haven't spent much time with him yet, I did just reveal myself to him, well you get your work done, me and him will do whatever", Azul heads upstairs.

Hours pass as the sun rises high, Azul having played board games, read comics and done whatever spike generally wanted, the drake had never spent so much time with anyone other than twilight, he loved having some creature here when twilight was busy, and best thing is, with azuls tendrils, spike had more time to do what he wanted as twilight really now only needed his fire breath, spike still got her things if she needed, but now he had more time to himself, he liked it.

As the day wore on Azul heard the door to the library open, as he peaked down stairs, it was just him and spike, as a small orange filly pushed up a step ladder, as she pulls down two books, one was labeled, how to fly for fillies and colts, the other was a book about loss, she looked about as if searching for twilight or spike, spike almost spoke up when Azul covered his lips as the orange filly left, Azul decided to act, transforming into a shadow and hitching a ride with the filly, he would get to the bottom of the books she took, he just hoped that the second book taken, didn't lead to where he thought it did, and If it did why did nopony do anything, maybe the girls didn't know, but what If this little filly lived next to somepony?, why would they keep the suffering of a foal silent....Azul would find out.

Walking to a disheveled part of ponyville, the filly held her head low to the ground, sulking all the way to a house, a barely standing one, dilapidated and old, a broken walkway to the house made Azuls heart sink further into the pit of his stomach, as the little filly went inside, first she started to read the flight book, thinking she was alone, she wandered into a back part of the house, where a single patch of dirt could be seen through the floorboards, two headstones laid ontop of the soft soil, one Read daddy, the other read mommy, the filly opened up the book and began to read, as if searching for something to say, finally she spoke.

(Scootaloo) ," m-mom....d-dad....I miss you every day, [she hiccups as tears begun to fall] it wasn't fair that you left me here alone...I only wish I had just one pony who. Cares". The small filly just started crying...unable to get any father, or use what she read to at least come to terms with her parents death, azuls heart, ached, the monster had found a kindred broken soul, and with high risk...revealed himself.

(Azul) ," little one....It's ok".

Scootaloo jumped at the voice and turned to the speaker, she saw him and was about to scream, when he looked sincerely into her eyes, those mismatched orbs glowing ever softly, as she just continued to cry, and eventually latching onto the strange stallion.

(Scootaloo) ," i-its not fair **hiccup** how d-did you know....".

(Azul) ," because I am like you, a broken soul, come, I shall take care of you".

As he carried scootaloo away, the small filly snuggled into his grasp, as he used an illusion spell to sneak back to the library, as they entered he carried the filly up to the bed, and tucked her in, he then went to the mayor's office for a adoption form, and he would get it immediately instated....so help him, he didn't care if he was revealed for that.

The attendant was stamping some forms when the oddity himself crept up and covered their muzzles.

(Azul) ," listen here, you are going to approve this adoption form, and it's going to be instated immediately, got it", his eyes glowed menacingly, as he grinned at the poor pony who only shook their head in response.

(Azul) ," good, now don't scream, or I'll have to knock you out", the pony nodded as Azul actually penatrated the brain of the pony and stole memories, as he implanted the memory of a blue stallion coming in 3 weeks prior and adopting scootaloo, as the clerks eyes grew distant, being pacified so Azul could escape, he made his way back to the library and beheald his new daughter as he heard his love fast asleep upstairs, he got into bed, and snuggled up to twilight, as he smiled at what he had done, not caring If he got caught, as  he stayed awake, yet again...like every other night...why would he not go to sleep, you'll have to find out, next time
