12.The Secrets we Keep

Narcissa knew that she wasn't dealing with the situation maturely, but the way she felt right now, being mature wasn't even a part of the equation.

"Narcissa, sweetheart let's talk about this."

Amir said as Narcissa reached for the vase and threw it at his hand. Amir's  hand started bleeding as he looked at the shards of glass left in his right hand.

"Fuck."

Amir cursed and he saw Narcissa reaching for his shoes.

"Narcissa, this isn't very mature."

Amir said as he dodged to avoid being hit by his Reeboks.

"You have a son you never told me about. You are a liar, I mean, what else are you lying about? Your name? Who you are perhaps?"

Narcissa asked that she walked out of his room. Amir followed her outside.

"Narcissa, I can't lie to you, I didn't know."

Amir pleaded as Narcissa ignored him.

"Don't follow me, Amir."

Narcissa said that she descended the stairs into the kitchen. Narcissa turned to the fridge and opened it looking for some comfort food. As soon as she close the fridge she turn around, and there he was.

"I thought I told you not to follow me."

Narcissa said that she looked at his bleeding hands. 'God dammit'. 'Was he a Masochist or something like that?' Was he turned on by the fact that she was angry at him?

Men.

"You should get that looked at."

Narcissa said that she jumped up on the counter dipping her fingers in the Nutella. Amir came towards her forced her legs apart and stood in between them.

"Look at me Narcissa, I'm telling you the truth I honestly had no idea."

Amir said honestly as Narcissa nodded. The practical part of her brain knew that he was telling the truth, but it just hurts knowing that someone else has his child.

A child that they are yet to have. She wanted to be his first. She wanted to give him his first child.

"Okay, I believe you, so do you want to leave me now?"

Narcissa asked Amir little bit scared of the answer. Amir looked at her a little bit amused at what went through her head.

He knew then that even that could not separate them. She would be his forever as he would be hers.

"Are you crazy? Of course not. You, Narcissa, are my mate and neither Holly nor Joshua can change that. Of course, it would mean I will spend a lot of time with Joshua, but it will be here in this house, with you and Joshua. Because as much as I will love Joshua, I will love you more forever and always. Besides Joshua needs to get used to his new stepmom."

Amir said us Narcissa smiled.

"Okay, I trust you. But I don't trust Holly. You already hurt me once, I want to know you to do so again."

Narcissa said as Amir walked up to her and kissed her lips.

"I love you so much and nothing can change that."

Amir said as Narcissa smiled. This was the second time he had told her that he loved her but she hadn't even said it once to him.

His wife is very short she was the one and he did not even have to think twice. But then again maybe it was different for vampires. He hadn't had much experience with them over the centuries.
