'Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.'-Lao Tzu
As soon as Amir entered the house he went in search of Brooklyn.
"Narcissa"
He started towards her but Brooklyn intercepted him and landed one solid box on his right cheek.
"How dare you?"
Brooklyn said as he tried to start talkimg, Brooklyn landed another slap to his left cheek.
"I'm sorry I just lost control."
Amir said as Brooklyn smiled evilly.
"Lost control, is that what you're going with? You hurt my sister, you destroyed her. After they murdered our parents she shut down. She stopped talking for one whole year ask Reagan and then you come and pull some shit like this on her. Hasn't she been through enough?"
Brooklyn yelled as Amir looked at his shoes. He was so fucked up that he hurt Narcissa.
"I know. But I love her Brooklyn"
Amir said as Brooklyn shook her head and snorted.
"Love, you don't know the meaning of the word love. Love is not hurting the people who are trying to rape them. What can one expect from someone who's just a dog?"
Brooklyn said as Amir felt his anger rise. She called him a dog. But she was right, wasn't she?
"We're going home."
Brooklyn announced as Amir felt his heart stop in his chest.
"This is her home."
Amir said as Brooklyn shook her head. Narcissa emerged from the top of the stairs.
"No, it doesn't feel that way anymore."
Narcissa said as Amir sighed. He knew it was because of Carson. Since the incident, Carson hasn't spoken to him.
"I'm sorry at least care about the things I've bought you."
Amir pleaded as Narcissa shook her head.
"No I came here empty-handed and I will leave that way. Besides I'm not a gold digger."
Narcissa said as Brooklyn took her hand
"Let's go home."
Brooklyn said as she held her sister's hand. They close their eyes and dematerialized out of Amir life forever.

"Welcome home, Narcissa!!"
The whole colony yelled as Narcissa and Brooklyn materialized home. Narcissalooked around. The place felt a little familiar almost homemade like she was where she needed to be home, back in Canada.
"Thank you."
Narcissa said as she looked at her clan. Everyone was there her sister Brooklyn, Kadeem, Regan, Camden, and Addison. She was home.
'So why was it that she felt like she wasn't?'
Narcissa tried to forget the day when Amir fished her out of the river. But one thing that she always wondered was how did she get into the river in the first place.
She felt as if she could trust Brooklyn but she had an off feeling about some of the other members of the clan.
"So what do you remember from that day, how did you end up in the river?"
Addison asked as Narcissa shook her head.
"If you don't mind it's been a rather long day and I would like to get some rest. Brooklyn where is my room?"
