"It means girlfriend. We lived in Australia for a while, I guess the lingo still sticks."

Amir lied smoothly asateo smiled.

"Mayeo, we have to catch up. Tell me, what happened. It has been about their...I mean it's been such a long time since we last saw each other."

Amir said as Mateo nodded. They finished up dinner and both men walked towards the convertible.

" I see we still have a similar taste "

Mateo said as ClAmir smiled. He guessed they did.

"Follow me."

Amir said as he lead Mateo to the mansion.

"This is where you live?"

Mateo asked as Amir nodded.

"I pass here every day. I live at the big mansion on the other street."

Mateo said as Amir laughed. It didn't matter, they were together. Amir led them inside and turned to Mateo.

"You have to tell her."

Amir said as Mateo shook his head.

"Tell me what?"

Amber asked as Mateo looked like he would shoot daggers at his brother.

"She doesn't know?"

Narcissa asked as Amir shook his head.

"Now what? Okay, it's time you all stop being so cryptic and tell me what's going on. I'm a doctor I can handle it."

Amber said as Mateo sighed

"Okay Amber, here goes. I'm a werewolf and you're my mate."

Mateo split out as he watched Amber freeze.

"Not like that bro, you should have eased her into it."

Amir said as Amber sat down and look blankly at them.

"I'll go get something strong. This is a Vodka moment. "

Narcissa said as Amir looked at her sternly.

"But not for you. I don't even want you smelling the battle, understand?"

Amir said as Mateo laughed at their exchange.

"Calm down bro, you are acting like she's pregnant."

Mateo said as a blush came across Narcissa's face. Amir smiled brightly.

"Oh my God, she is, isn't she?"

Mateo said assured of his prediction. Amir smiled even brighter if that was possible.

"Yes, she is."

Amir said as Narcissa poured the vodka into a glass and gave it to Amber.

"How are you taking this so calmly?"

Narcissa asked as Amber smiled and turned to her.

"Oh, I knew my mate was a werewolf from the moment we met."

Narcissa said confidently as Amir pulled her into his lap.

"And you're okay with this?'

Amber asked as Narcissa nodded.

"It was easier for him to tell me, I'm not exactly human."

Narcissa said as Amber looked at her shocked.

"What are you then, if you're not human?"

Amber asked as Narcissa slapped Amir's hand lightly for distracting her by playing with her hair.

"I'm a vampire."

Narcissa said as Amber held her head.

"Oh my God, I have officially entered a twilight zone. I'm going crazy."

Amber said as Narcissa laughed a little.

"In the words of our Luna, it gets easier."

Narcissa said as Amber looked at her puzzled.

"Luna?"

She asked

"Yes, as in an Alpha's mate. We have Alpha Atlas, Luna Octavia, and Beta Amir."

Narcissa said as Amber got up.

"I think I need to lie down."

Amber said as Mateo got up with her.

"The guest room is that way. I'll tell Alpha Atlas that he has new members. Since you're a lone wolf, you don't mind joining this pack, do you?"

Amir asked as Mateo nodded.

"Excellent, good night Mateo and Amber, my mate and I have a previous appointment."

Amir said as he walked up to Narcissa  and picked her up.

"Is that so?"

Amber asked as Amir nodded hurrying off to his room. He put Narcissa in the middle of his bed.

"How do you feel about seeing your brother again?"

Narcissa asked as Amir smiled.

"Happy, he's alive, he mated and he's healthy, what more can I ask for?"

Amirnsaid as Narcissa laughed.

"How about a son?"

Narcissa said as Amir lifted her blouse and kissed it.

"Or a daughter, healthy suits me just fine."

Amir said as he trailed his kiss up between the valley of her breast.
