18.Finding Rush II

Addison had Rush in a little hut right on the edge of the river, a stone's throw away from where Amir had found Narcissa in the river... place of her very first crime. Addison figured that this was the last place anyone would look for her since it was the most obvious place to start. Rush sat huddled in the corner of a single bed.

"I want to go home."

Rush said as Addison smirked.

"Well, that's too bad. You have to stay here with me. Besides, it's almost time for us to play a little game."

Addison said as Rush huddled away from her. Addison took some rope and bonded his hands and feet. She heated some iron and held it against his skin. A blood-curdling scream rang throughout the forest.

"No no, we'll have that now. I've hardly begun"

Addison teased used to iron and pierced his ribcage. Rush struggled to breathe.

"Please... Stop...."

Rush begged as Addison laughed.

"Not yet. I have to brand you, to show my ownership over you."

Addison said that she got a knife and pulled up a chair beside his bed. She brought the knife down and started her masterpiece. She started took carve her name into his stomach. Rush started to vomit blood.

"Now we just need some salt to seal the wound."

I just said that she went into her kitchen and threw some salt into his wound. Rush said as he watched the salt seal his wound.

"I'm going to die, aren't I?"

Rush asked as Addison laughed.

"That's a distinct possibility."

Addison said as Rush cried and sobbed. Then he heard a loud howl in the distance. You would recognize that song anywhere.

"Daddy."

Just real said weekly as he managed to let out a scream.

"You brat."

Addison said as she boxed him in his face. But there was nothing she could do. They knew her location. It was on there of time before...

The door to the cottage came flying off in an instant. Carson scanned the room and took in what was happening. He looked at the cuts and bruises on his son, then at Addison.

"Let me explain."

Addison started as Carson jumped on her and bit her head clean off her body, before she had a chance to explain. Using his paws, he started to rip her apart and didn't stop until there was nothing and he didn't stop until there was nothing left on the floor but blood and tissue fragments.

"Dad."

Rush called as he did regain control of Carson and* shifted into his human form.

"Yes, son."

Amir said as he kissed his forehead.

"I was really brave dad. I knew you would save me. I love you, dad. Please tell Aunt Narcissa that I love her too."

Rush said as he closed his eyes.

"Rush?"

Amir called out to his son, but he didn't respond.

"Rush!"

But it was too late for him. Just then the rest of the pack burst in along with Narcissa's clan.

"It's too late."

Amir said as Regan, Hunter, and the rest of the pack and clan, all hang their head in sorrow. Amir took up Rush's mangled body and walked towards the mansion. It still didn't seem real.

"Let me take him."

Dr. Grayson said as Amir held onto his son and ignored the good doctor.

"No."

Amir said as Dr. Grayson sighed.

"I'll see to him."

Dr. Grayson said as he took him from Amir. Amir fell to his knees as Narcissa ran up to him.

"It's not true, tell me it's not true."

Narcissa said having received the news.

"I'm sorry, it's true, Rush is dead."

Amir said as the tears flowed freely.

"Rush's dead, boy well, more freedom for me."

Holly said as Narcissa turned to look at the heartless monster who had said those words. She had just signed her death certificate.

"Don't worry, you're free to join him."

Amir said as he turned into Carson. He jumped on holly and tore her to pieces.

"Carson, come back to me darling. I know you're hurting, but I'm right here for you."

Narcissa said as Carson up to her. She rubbed him and he lay at her feet.

"I love you, Carson. We will get through this together."

Narcissa said as Carson nodded and lay in her lap. He transformed into his human form. Mateo came up and threw a blanket over them.

"I hear our daughter."

Amir said as he touched her stomach.

"Please don't leave me."

Amir said as Narcissa kissed her cheek.

"Not even if you wanted me to."

Narcissa said as Amir smiled. His family was all around him and he knew that they would get through it.

"We're all here."

Alpha Atlas said as they all set down with him, embracing him.

"We all love you, Narcissa and Rush."

Octavia said as they hugged him. He was with his family at last. Even though he had only known his son for a few days, felt an immense loss at his death.

"You won't leave me, will you princess?"

He asked rubbing Narcissa's stomach.

"No, she won't."

Narcissa answered as Amir smiled. Narcissa took him off the floor and to their room.

"Sleep love. I'll watch over you."

Narcissa said as Amir lied in her lap and slept while listening to his princess's heartbeat. Amir was sleeping out of the room.

"How is she?"

Mateo asked as Narcissa sighed.

"As well as is expected."

Narcissa told him as the tears threatened to spill from her eyes.

" And you?"

Mateo asked as the tears came flowing freely.

"He's gone, my baby boy is gone."

Narcissa said as Mateo sighed.

"I know. But you know what, he's in your heart and no one can take that away from you."

Mateo said as Narcissa hugged him.
